darthspudius: Manhunt and Postal were boring? Damn, someone forgot to tell my brain!
avatar
LeonardoCornejo: Well, finding something boring is rarely an objective opinion. For xample, some people find Myst boring, but others , I for instance, find it wonderful.
Off course, this do not relate to games like Gone Home...

It does, but Gone Home is the poorly written story about someone who finds out her sister is a selfish fucked up person and also a lesbian. And is liked by certain cliques just because it has lesbians in it. Not to mention there is very little gameplay. Most of it is read someting and walk.

Indeed.

People like it, you don't. And they like it for other reasons than what you think... same as with you and Must.
No opinion on any kind of art, including video games, is ever 'objective'. That's a completely bogus line of thinking.

well, some aspects of art can be objectively quantified. videogames qualify for this to a greater degree than other art forms just because of the greater share of technical engineering making up the whole completed work. you can objectively quantify a game's texture size, its particle density and resolution, its lod phases, its engine's performance.

I really think the problem on subjectivity applies to music the most which is why I don't see much point in music reviews.

Not everyone likes it, it is a very polarizing game, and I really don't see why would people like it. But I think I am wasting my time talking to a person that strongly defended Anita Sarkeesian not so long ago.

I know it is a polarizing game, but you say the only reason some people like it is because it has homosexual people in it.... that makes just as much sense as if I sad "Myst is a boring game. The only reason some people like it is because it is about a dysfunctional family",
OH MY GOD he "strongly defended Anita Sarkeesian"! He mus' be one of 'em SJW everyone's talkin' 'bout these days!

monkeydelarge: Every word you say to me is stupid.
avatar
tinyE: See that is totally flat and uninspired!
Wrong! The correct answer is:
I wanted to make sure you'd feel comfortable with me.
Let's try again:
You're as repulsive as a monkey in a negligee.

Speaking of Billy Madison defending Anita's """""work""""'(can't put enough quotation marks around that word in using this word towards her "actions")is like defending Adam Sandler these days.A frivolous excersise in defending con men.

The devs put my BF in the game as an easter egg (Cyanosis), pretty neat! :D

Which doesn't change the fact that pulling an "argument" like 'You defended Anita, everything you ever say is wrong' is absolutely insane.

On that part we can agree
