Atticusmj: Can't someone from GOG just come and talk about this?
like more then "we can't"?
They know better than that. If they try to justify themselves, the conspiracy theorists will have a field day.

Many of us would just like hear the real context of why?
Will ppl be happy with it? Kind depends on if really something out there hands or not
I shared what the CEO said they were told by GOG himself, the trolls just buried it so they could bait more.

http://forums.hatredgame.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1715 They aren't speaking out of respect between the companies privacy. It's almost clear they are scared, saying it's a good game, then refusing.

Crassmaster: You don't need to resort to such tactics...like he just showed you DID? Even for you, this is an incredible leap away from anything resembling logic. Bravo, sir! Slow claps all round!

monkeydelarge: All he showed me is a post about the lies CarrionCrow tells himself everyday. Exactly the same lies you tell yourself everyday.
I could continue this, but I'd receive a more challenging debate from this sandwich sitting before me.

Of course, if I'm debating the sandwich, I can't eat it. Hmmm...

OneFiercePuppy: No. GOG doesn't explain why they sell or do not sell a game. There's no point asking them to. They don't, and won't.
Nah they sorta did once with Xenonauts, they confirmed what the devs said the reason for the initial rejection was it, didn't end well.

The forum requires registration to even view it. No wonder it was ignored.

GOG fanboys don't care about the truth. The only thing you can do really is just point and laugh at them.

According to Jarek: GOG was given the finished product, they played it, and responded to DC with "It's good ... but we can't."

All you need.

yes because a company is honestly going to honestly say "your game is bad". Of course they will say it's good, they always say that and then often give a vauge response. Even Valve did that shit back when they actually curated their store.
what the fuck is this thread

doing

what

the fuck

Yeah, I recall, but I consider a one-off to be a rounding error, ultimately. The policy is pretty well enforced: they don't tell us why. Every now and then, they do. But that's just sort of a summary of nearly everything - "it's this way, except sometimes it isn't; but it's this way." ^_^ Quicker, anyway, then the detailed version :P

All I need is something like that from someone a Hell of a lot less biased than the developer of the game in question.
Not quite sure what I feel about this, I like to believe gog have really good reasons for not supporting this release though.

One thing is for sure from a business point of view .. this game is going to sell by the bucket load even if its bad.

So in the short term it could be a bad decision as far as sales go, in the long term ? Who knows .... I have a feeling it will alienate quite a few of the more vocal gogites ... personally I like to thing that most of the gog community are not that short sighted.
