Breja: No one is trying (or capable) of stopping this game from being developed and released. So you will be able to get it, if you want it so bad. But I guess some people who are active in "GOG community" feel partially responsible for what goes on around here, and feel the need to "monitor their own backyard" so to speak. It's not about stopping you from playing it, but about not being in any way party to something that disturbs them. At least that is how I see it, and why I voted for "NO to Hatred on GOG", though I might have acted too hastily, I'll admit. I really don't like anything about this game, and don't want to see it here, but than again GOG is just a store, and people who want to play it are users too...
monkeydelarge: But if the game comes to GOG, I'm sure a lot of people will buy it so GOG will be able to make some $$$ from this game. And that is good for everyone here, no?
No, Breja is right, the limited amount of releases here makes that important. I don't believe any second that gog could have a shortage of games to release and I am sure many are rejected in favor of others. I think I would prefer any game being released instead of this one.
Edit : To be clear, only for the provocative angle clearly worked by the devs, I am really against that game.
Of course the recent 'multi releases' gog is showering us with is weakening my point :s
jefequeso: I think you're misunderstanding my position in all this.
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/hatred_game/post87 The argument starts here.
Indeed it seems. I didn't catch the thread yesterday because the game wasn't appealing. But the recent activity related to the discussion of violence piqued my interest. I should've grab the thread higher. (Are you doing reverse argumentation to me !!? ;)
