Tracido: Actually, the first expansion pack was 20, the Postal 2 Share the Pain original game was 20 as well, but I actually bought 3 copies including Steam's much, much later final acceptance onto the digital platform...
DCT: Retail.. I am talking about what Running with Scissors put them up for digitally which was 6 dollars for Postal 1 complete and uncut and 10 for Postal 2 plus all expansions. 6 to 10 dollars for two complete versions of games, especially 2 that are older and have somewhat of a history is not the same as asking for 20 bucks for a prettier looking new game that is the basically the same damn thing as one your selling for 6 dollars just with a few minor additions i.e. open levels and destructible environments.
This is what I get for not just straight out and stating as such since people(no offense tinyE) can't bloody take the time and read my post and the post I was responding too and think about the context which was "Me saying that it probley was rejected on GOG because of length and it's repetitive nature along with not really adding to much to keep a play hooked." To which jefequeso cleary brought up Postal 1 and 2 being here and pretty much being the same thing, I said clearly since it's right bloody there in my reply saying "Yes but they weren't submitted for possible sale for 20 bucks"(paraphrasing)
That's an awful lot of considerations, and opinion, but what did you want from a genocide game aimed at making killing seem statistical, and numeric?
Maybe you, enjoyed the Beta uncut AO version of Manhunt 2, no? I sure did, see, that's where I connect beyond just Postal, except this is more capable than Postal, and gives me a fond memory of a classic called Mercenaries 2, which none combine.
Right, again, lots of making anything fit and not sense.
The release of games in the old days not even being considered, plus inflation, alone just wipes that out.
