PaterAlf: A second review showed up on Metacritic.com:
"Hatred is a very playable game for fans of adrenaline and bloody thrills, although the content of the game is a bit controversial. The game could be longer, more diverse and better optimized (Unreal Engine 4 is hungry for power). And given the overall quality Hatred did not deserve all the media buzz surrounding its development and most likely it won't be remembered in a few years' time."

I'd actually have liked some back story for the character as well as character development to make it seem less generic. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Sigma's straight Alien/Zombie-Shooters and isometric mouse+keyboard shooting is a lot of fun in itself, but since the game rode the whole "controversial"-wave, it should have a bit more content.
Does the story at least explain in some way why there are no children left in the world and is there any chance for a multiplayer mode where you can play the other side (police) or a second psycho? At least some simple deathmatch / capture the flag?
