I was just wondering about this since I tried to contact them twice now and never even did get a reply. Maybe I did something wrong or maybe Nordic is just the worst publisher ever. Somebody ever did a (helpful) reply from them?

Did you apply a supportticket or post on their forums?

When Red Faction: Guerrilla replaced GFWL with Steamworks, customers of non-Steam versions were prompted to contact Nordic to get a Steam key. I did and was able to acquire the key within a day.

ReynardFox also had a question for Nordic regarding the retail version of Ori and the Blind Forest and it was also answered within a day.

Well, it's june, maybe support is closed for a couple of weeks because of the summervacation, otherwise I wouldn't know.

So they do answer questions. Well, they did not answer my questions if they plan to add a German localisation for Torchlight here on GOG and they also did not answer my question regarding the still missing patch for Darksiders 2 which should fix the controller prompts. This issue has been fixed on Steam since months and we are just waiting for months and Nordic - according to GOG - is aware. Well, that is so great that they are aware of the issue. They should FIX it - and nobody can tell me that it takes months to fix such an issue. Maybe because they are also aware that they are screwing GOG customers at the moment I did not receive any reply.

Torchwood?

In this case a short notice "at the moment we are on vacation ..." would be nice. There is something I noticed. Some publishers and devs are so customer friendly that you plan to buy even games you are not that interested and others seem to treat you like now they have your money they don't need to care anymore which makes me quite angry. I do understand that there might be a point when a game does not receive any more support but if a game is broken to the extemd the mentioned Darksiders 2 is considering the controller prompts (so it's basically not playable as long as you don't memorize every gamepad control ) imo they have the OBLIGATION to fix this ASAP(!) especially if they already did on another platform. Such behaviour simply shows that they do care more for steam as they do for GOG so why should I support future releases by them? Torchlight of course - will correct this.

I doubt they can do that as they aren't publishing the game digitally (Runic does). It's a similar case with Galactic Civilizations II, as the game itself is self-published on digital stores, but Kalypso has the full rights to its German localisation, which is why it's omitted from Steam/GOG.

Afaik runic owns the digital rights to the game and nordic owns the rights for the German localisation (among others) because they bought them from JoWood. But to be sure I did even contact both nordic and runic - both did not reply. And this is what I mean. You at least replied and gave me an answer why this will probably never be the case (even though it's crazy to own rights without using them imo) why couldn't they do the same?
