No. Unless something shady is going on, they won't remove your games. Even if a game is pulled off the store (for various reasons), it will stay in your shelf and you'll be able to download it whenever you like.

If the game was purchased legitimately they don't remove your game. However, until about February/March last year they could (and did for some games) remove game goodies, which they have thankfully stopped doing.

That always gets me. Like the 'hide game' option isn't enough, they are afraid Teen Agent is going to give the rest of their library a disease or something. :P

I understand hiding games so they're not on the list, removing them altogether still baffles me.

I did it once because I accidentally bought a game instead of buying it as a gift code. So GOG removed it from my account and gave me the gift code instead. :-)

Not quite the same thing.

Honestly, hiding in the new layout makes the game more visible, not less. The most prominent sorting method is All-Updated-Hidden, genres/tags/whatnot are secondary. (I ended up making a "why did I buy it" tag for shit games.)

And, considering GOG offers a household license, I absolutely understand the reasoning for getting rid of certain games permanently. "Hidden" doesn't necessarily connote "shit" -- it may mean "guilty pleasure", or "doesn't run", or "completed".

Ah, I guess I would understand if someone used it like that.

Yes, everytime I go into my Library to download Half Life 3 its not there!
