nightcraw1er.488: Seriously, Dark Souls 1 works fine on the PC? ...
Elenarie: Yes, worked really nice, played half of it with M/KB and half of it with an XO controller.
I had no significant issues with it either, and I've played both the console and PC version. It ran as well as can be expected of a console port made by developers who have never developed for PC before, apart from 2009's
Ninja Blade. Somewhere along the line you need to have realistic expectations given all the facts.
The fact that the game was even released on PC despite it never being the intention, after a huge petition, you'd expect people to be more grateful and forgiving. FromSoft had no obligation whatsoever towards PC gamers, absolutely none. They were, and still are, predominantly a console developer, as Bloodborne has showed us.
The review scores, both by media and by users, for Dark Souls on PC show that most PC gamers
are in fact very forgiving of any issues they encountered in the game, as the scores are overwhelmingly positive.
