I've seen various sites report that GoG Galaxy is "out" so I thought I'd try and download it. Then I find out that it's in open beta so I thought, ok, I'll sign up. Has anyone got their invite yet?

No I haven't and I signed up yesterday.

Are you in the alpha yet? Because I got no "new" key but rather my account entry for gog galaxy alpha changed to beta and was updated.

Maybe it's the same for you?

Edit: There was no notification about this update, so look closely. Maybe it's something like 1.0.0.871 now instead of x.870.

They invites are sent out over time, so the only thing you can do is wait.

I got my invite last week too. But I suspect that's because I owned Alien vs Predator (which was one of Galaxy's test games).

Signed up yesterday. Nothing yet.

I was part of the closed alpha and my client updated today to version 1.0.0.871.

Might take a few days for some of you guys.

I was in GoG Galaxy Alpha, and got an email on Apr 30 saying "One of your games is now powered by GOG Galaxy!" It came with an "alpha key" link. Then I got the email about the Galaxy Beta. I clicked on *that*, and it wanted my email address and told me to wait for an invite. So then I clicked on the "alpha key" link in the earlier Apr 30 email, and it immediately took me to a download page for Galaxy Beta, and I downloaded and installed it.

My story is probably irrelevant to you if you weren't in Galaxy Alpha. :-)

Alpha client got updated on my shelf quietly. Cool stuff.

How long ago did your alpha update? Mine hadn't as of about 3 hours ago (at work atm so can't currently check)

My alpha updated around 15 minutes ago. So you should try it again.

Try restarting a few times, if it still doesn't update you should be able to download it from your library on the website.
