nightcraw1er.488: When is International Blah Blah Blah day? They are going to run out days far quicker than pointless wastes of time international day for <>
avatar
Dreaganos: I actually searched for that and yeah there is one.

https://dayfinders.com/international-blah-blah-blah-day/

Criticizing someone is one of the easiest tasks in the world. And if you are fed up with the blah blah of someone there here comes an opportunity for you to get rid of all these. On this 17 April , the blah blah blah day is coming.

There is only one way to stop these annoying people by taking the Blah Blah Blah day as a kick off moment to get all the things done. You got a chance to mute all of these blah blah blahs simply by eliminating the topic that blah blah is about.

The blah blah blah day originally was created in 2006 by the Thomas Roy and Ruth of Well cat Holidays & Herbs. It is the day to listen to the words of nagging which usually register in the brain of those as a dial tone which is quite enough to remember the old landlines.

The blah blah blah day holiday is celebrated across the whole globe. The best of celebrating this holiday is to dusting off or digging out the resolutions of life which you have forgotten like New Year’s Resolution and take another start on these resolutions again before the people start blah blah blah and you got the strikes of blues once again in your life.

Amazing!

Lord_Kane: It was a joke dont worry about it. :)
People seem to have completely lost any sense of humor on the subject.
With everything our forefathers did to establish the eight-hour day, it's really sad to acknowledge how nowadays crunch culture is a given in many work environments within the videogames industry. Even worse, we usually get to know about those practices because the information gets leaked! It's a good thing that everything related to videogames tends to have a lot of exposure, so hopefully this and other abusive trends will (to the relief of many) end soon.

Breja, people seem to have no sense of humor at all anymore.
no one can laugh at each other, or themselves anymore.

all humor is to be sanitized it seems.

a disparaging state of affairs.

It's not workers day it's May Day for people to have fun and festivals. Like these strange morris dancers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqVpXe5_GUQ
In medieval times, May Day was often celebrated by young men and women dancing on the village green around a specially-decorated tree called a maypole.

The branches of a slender tree were cut off, coloured ribbons tied to the top and the revellers held on to the ends of the ribbons and danced. Some villages still carry on the tradition today.

Before the dancing began there was also a procession led by a woman appointed May Queen for the day. Sometimes she was accompanied by a May King, who dressed in green to symbolise springtime and fertility.

The maypole was a symbol of fertility
In Germany, it was the tradition that a fir tree was cut down on May Eve by young unmarried men. The branches were removed and it was decorated and set up in village square. The tree was guarded all night to prevent it being stolen by the men of a neighbouring village. If the guard was foolish enough to fall asleep the going ransom rate for a maypole was a good meal and a barrel of beer.

A similar festival existed in ancient Rome called Floralia, which took place at around the end of April and was dedicated to the Flower Goddess Flora. On May 1, offerings were made the goddess Maia, after which the month of May is named.

That's what I was thinking. I enjoyed dancing round the maypole when I was a kid.
