One of my elementary teachers was Jewish. It was a "There are other cultures than what you find living in Maine" thing.

Sorry, I should have explained more. You were commenting on how you were "fascinated" by this stuff. I had a teacher who brought up holidays from around the world because she was as well and how she tried to teach us about them.

Now you;re going to have to forgive me. It's also World Digestive Health Day. Guess I should take a special trip to the bathroom to celebrate.

Guess it's better than National Composting Day which is also today.
Well, I already compost for our garden, so I'm covered there. I s'pose I could whip up a batch of biscuits, tho!
