However you’re spending this holiday season, we just wanted to wish you an amazing, peaceful time.

I see, thank you. A short blog post explaining this would've gone over better. Even linking directly to the profile edit page would've been better than the profile itself, though that also wouldn't work for people with disabled profiles.

By the way, GOG, sincerely, I thank you for the neutral usage of language ("Happy Holidays").

It is more inclusive and far less alienating than some alternatives, as many of us are not currently (nor have we ever) been subscribers to certain systems of belief and their associated customs.
