Happy Holidays from the GOG.com team!
The holiday season is here. The world, in all its little shopping frenzies and chaotic reunions, seems to slow down just a little. It slows to taste the crisp winter air, to be childishly entranced by all the lights and colors.

As for us, we're going to celebrate with a little something special.
With a new free game in our catalog: Bio Menace, something of a mix between the smooth and joyous gameplay of Commander Keen, and the alien weirdness of the original Duke Nukem platformers. The spacey 2D shooter by 3D Realms is now part of our selection of free, truly worth playing, classics.

With a Happy Holiday Sale from GOG.com & Bethesda:
Have a holly, jolly discount. It's the best time of the year. We don't know if there will be snow, but have a cup of deal. It's up to 75% off the entire Bethesda catalog on GOG.com - including the three and only classic Fallout games, as well as some of the best shooters in history: the retro Wolfenstein 3D & Return to Castle duo, The Ultimate DOOM, DOOM II & Final DOOM alongside the Quake series (from the singleplayer gory of Quake + Quake II, through the timeless mutliplayer mayhem of Quake III). Finally, there's the chance to explore the history of The Elder Scrolls with classics like Morrowind, Battlespire, and Redguard.

As always, any purchase from the Bethesda catalog on GOG.com comes with a free copy of The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls Chapter II: Daggerfall!

Looking for last-minute gifts? There ya' go.
The sale will last until December 29, 4:59 AM GMT.

Have a happy holiday season!
I'd really like more Bethesda games to be released here, especially Fallout 3 & New Vegas, Fallout 4, Oblivion, Skyrim, Dishonored etc.
Perfect time to release Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, or Skyrim. GOG & Bethesda lets make this happen if you really want our holiday wishes to come true.

The-Business: GOG, can you please fix this detection system? It's annoying if one has crossed borders after logging in and tries to pay and only gets these messages shown after that or that the payments fails silently.
Welcome to Germany :P

Need some Doom 3 as well.
Awesome discounts and thanks for the freebie! However gog you might want to fix the overabundance of statements that I own Arena and Daggerfall for every single of the games I'm going to purchase, as I know that already and you needen't tell me like 7 times...

Another free game joins the almight GOG catalogue! Thanks, GOG! :-)
Hmm free game.

Well only games from the list that I don't own are the fallout games which I do own :)

Ah games hoping from one publisher to another, fun times.

Wish I could just mark them off as owned. I'm afraid one day I'll come home drunk see a sale and see games I don't own and buy them again.

No alternative but to drink in moderation I guess.
Finally a nice promo, coolio!
Thanks GOG and Zenimax.
No, I don't need more games. I really don't. Seriously!

Does Daggerfall come with Linux installer by any chance?
Sh...t! And yet they've managed to squeeze some more cash from me before this year ends...:-P

EDIT: ...and purchased Morrowind + Wolfenstein 3D..downloading now - just in case.

Very nice with the freebie GOG, thanks! Nice to see you're still committed to bringing the occasional highly-desired freebies. :) (It would be nice to see Sim City 1 here, perhaps bundled with SC2k; more likely, though, Death Rally, Dreamweb, Heroine's Quest, or Halloween Harry would all be welcome by me. And Inner Worlds looks fun even though it has far fewer votes. ;)

Great prices on the Bethesda games too; I may actually spend some money. I am surprised the rest of the DOS-based Bethesda games aren't yet, though, ie, Hexen/Heretic bundle and Commander Keen bundle.

Yeah, presumably they could say something more generic but only once, like 'Because you already own Arena and Daggerfall, you will not receive another copy when you make your purchase(s).'

InkPanther: Does Daggerfall come with Linux installer by any chance?
Just checked in my library and, nope, its installer is windows-only.

Thanks for checking.
Thanks for the free game! Hope to see some new titles in keeping with the Bethesda theme this week!
