Fairfox: Do you still have a father?
No.

Fairfox: Funny father stories?
Mind you, the last time I visited him at the hospital with mother (they'd already been divorced for a while at the time) he was on so many painkillers that he kept falling asleep on the table. After his declaration that this was, in fact, a sleeping table, we were ready to give up. Eventually, mother was like, "Well, listen, we're leaving, since you don't wanna have coffee with me!" Suddenly he was wide awake, looked her dead in the eye and went, "Oh, looks like I've kept my senses, at least!"
(She wasn't amused. I was and am to this day.)
nvm.

I had a dad; big and strong.
I turned around, and I found my daddy gone.

He was the one who made me what I am today.
It's up to me now. My daddy has gone away.

My dad has severe high blood pressure and he hasn't laid a hand on me since I was six. Are you sure that's the reason?

I see where it's going . lol
I still have a father and I am a father as well.

The most amusing thing I can remember right now is that my father and I have 30 years of age difference, just as my daughter and I.
No, dunno, no,

I'll never forget this one time I was surprised by a long white rope tied to a shelf above the entrance to the tv room. The rope ran the length of the tv room and disappeared under some cushions on one of the couches. Looking under the cushions I discovered that the piece of rope was firmly tied to the TV's remote control. Apparently my dad had had enough of looking for the damn thing whenever he wanted to watch TV. For a few weeks we had to make due with the fact that our TV room was a beginner's obstacle course, with one obstacle. Sitting down or getting up to go to the bathroom usually involved ducking under or carefully stepping over the rope...
Yes i have a father but haven't seen him in over a decade so i'm not losing anything, yes ancient history. No i'm not a father myself and getting past the point of being one either, still i know lots of people make a big thing of father's day so if that's you enjoy it.
I am a father, but my own father has passed away. Apart from that, Father's Day was June 5th here.

Kinda reminds me of my grandpa, actually. He used to do that kinda shit all the time, DIY stuff of some sort to make life easier, tape labels on everything, use ropes, rubber bands and what-have-you for various odd inventions. Nothing as elaborate as the TV remote obstacle course, but still.

"Reminds me of something my grandfather used to say. He used to say 'I'm going upstairs and fuck your grandma.' Well, he was just a really honest man, you know? He wasn't going to bullshit a four year old."
