...denied? Did anyone at GOG submissions even play it? Classic design with good pixel art that would have sold gangbusters during the Heretic/Hexen phase. Now, I have to buy it on Steam instead... /rant

Or you could just wait a little longer, and see if it passes the curation gauntlet on the second or third attempt.
Wouldn't be the first time for a title that got rejected once, even multiple times before to eventually make it and show up on GoG after all.

The strange thing is, the devs' comments indicate they submitted a video and it was turned down after a watch of that. The game has a playable public demo, and quite a large one.

lol, you think the "curators" actually PLAY the stuff they're sent? Do yourself a favor: Click the "Submit your game" button at the bottom of the page. You get to include links to screenshots and to gameplay videos. They base their decisions on those (if they even bother to look at them in the first place).

Huh, at some point they made the video compulsory. It used to be optional, as seen here: https://web.archive.org/web/20130928011244/https://www.gog.com/indie

It appears that via some quirk of the forum code, clicking the link will indeed take you to the current page, not to the Archive.org cache.
