Up to 90% off this bag full of tasty scares: Outlast, Clive Barker's Undying, Oxenfree, SOMA, Fran Bow, and more!

You are listening to a song that sounds like your grandma playing ping-pong with a gentleman stag. Suddenly, a distant noise of something breaking - or perhaps it's just the neighbor chopping down your favorite tree. But you live in the desert. It's all very confusing and disorienting until you check the calendar and realise it's almost Halloween! Time to put on your spooky face and go search the neighborhood for some scary good games going for up to 90% off. Time to go through The Scary Door.

Everyone you know is out here trick or treating, dressed up as something cool like the kids in Costume Quest. Be careful which houses you visit, though. Better avoid disturbing the disturbed Cat Lady downstairs, for starters. And that Last Door at the end of the road? It's strangely inviting, despite its ancient looks, but what are these eerie sounds coming from inside? Should you happen upon a wandering girl with a bag full of weird red candy, be so kind and help her find her cat. Poor Fran Bow has already been through enough.
This is one of these nights where your friends might try to drag you to some remote island with an abandoned military facility for some midnight mischief. If you want to feel Oxenfree for a while, feel free to join them, but better check if any of your buddies is possessed first, or you might end up stuck in a ghostly loop. Then again, you might not even make it there, not if you need to cross a Sunless Sea ruled by terrible Gods and odd creatures. Ah yes, this is definitely going to be a night to remember. Unless you decide to force some merciful Amnesia upon yourself, trying to dispel your Personal Nightmares. But why would you do that?

Enter The Scary Door and treat yourself to 30+ games that will give you the heebie-jeebies, including: SOMA, Clive Barker's Undying, Layers of Fear, Outlast, and so many others!
The promo will last until November 3, 3:59 AM UTC.
You are entering the vicinity of an area adjacent to a location. The kind of place where there might be a monster, or some kind of weird mirror. These are just examples; it could also be something much better. Prepare to enter: The Scary Door.
In love with the science fiction horror adventure thrend. Good horror science fiction games are good science fiction games. The more we have of these, the better, for SF lovers :)

By the way, grabbed SOMA in this sale. Good as hell.

It decided me to try Rifters, by Peter Watts. I was happy with his more recent Blindopraxia (Blinsight+Echopraxia).

Got ShadowMan for a damn good deal.

Why the heh isn't Pajama Sam on sale? The whole first game takes place in the spooky Land of Darkness! ;)

As is often usual these days, I already own on GOG many of the titles that are on sale (18 of them).

But there were a couple of Wishlist items I hadn't previously purchases, so I just did:

* Sunless Sea (now gotta wait for the recent expansion to re-go on sale)

* Vanishing of Ethan Carter + Collector's Edition Upgrade (what!? no single SKU?)

Since I'm finally about finished with my hugely long playthru of Old Good STALKER Evolution (a great full-content mod - tons and tons of content and many hours of play; particularly if you "live" in the world and not just rush through the quests); I'll probably start on of these soon..

Maybe tomorrow night would be a good time to start <g>
Got Personal Nightmare...Not likely I'm going to play it but I just couldn't resist 6th picture on game's card....Speaking of which..Where da hell is Elivira 1 & 2, GOG?
Sorry if it was already mentioned, but is the promo artwork available as a wallpaper download again? ( The one with the moon and tree. )

I think so, yeah. I found three other pictures related to this promo (200 x 120, 240 x 370, 480 x 740), but nothing higher or even as big as the first one. It's a shame, too, since it appears to be cropped at the bottom.
Costume Quest 2, please :)
A Halloween promo I'm not really interested in. Besides just one title from my whislist that I want to buy right now, there's nothing for me. A few GoG that I have interest, but not righ now.

But thx for scary deals.
I was about to buy but then I noticed GOG just raised all their Canadian prices, despite the exchange rate being stable for the past week. For example, Sunless Sea was $8.00 but now $8.49. What the point of providing a CAD option if it's going to more expensive than USD + conversion? I think maybe I won't buy anything after all.
Just bought Alan Wake and his American Nightmare, Deadly Premonition, and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (plus the extras). I'm quite happy with my selection—I love atmospheric games! ^_^

The exchange rate may have remained stable for the past week, but it has shifted against the CAD since GOG last updated their rates:

· Current exchange rates

· Previous exchange rates (from late August)

I agree that they could have waited until the Halloween sale is over to update the exchange rates, though... :\
Scrolling trought the forum threads I read:

"Halloween Porno" ... O_O that's interesting!

But then no.

Was "Halloween Promo" .... :(
