The recently introduced Nilfgaard faction received the most tweaks.

A new update for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is now available on PC and Xbox One!

The main focus of this update is to improve balance, solve some of the major issues that were affecting gameplay, and improve how Nilfgaard works – especially strategies focusing on revealing cards. A lot of Nilfgaard gold cards have also received strength improvements (details below).

Another big change is for the Clan Tuirseach Axeman card – its ability now only works with units damaged on the opponent's side.

The full list of changes, sorted by faction, is available here.

GICaesar: Fine... If I was paired today 2 times then it is much... Fuck the beta excuse. How am I to beta test this? By staring at the looking-for-worthy-opponent 10 hours a day? Shite work this, CD Project, and to be honest I cannot understand how you could ever succesfuly manage to put the Witchers to the market... Was the beta testing also like this???
I've noticed that pairing has been taking longer than usual. A couple of weeks ago I would never need to wait more than 20 seconds. Is it related to this last update?

Actualy no, I started to have these problems about a week before they introduced the Nilfgaard update...
I haven't been playing as much, but I did notice matchmaking taking longer too.

I put it down to my rank having gone up to 4 though, as the casual games seem to find opponents easier.

Somehow I do not want to believe, being rank 12, that I am such an elite that the game can't find anybody for me... There are positively people on-line, casual- or ranked-. Haven't played casual for very long, tried one time today, and it is exactly the same shit. Searching and searching and searching... OK, so I am going to betatest the searching. Statistical meaning of this equals zero, since the only outcome is practicaly no success...

I only play casual and it was about 15-20 seconds.
Btw my Skellige deck is fucked since the update, now I'm working on a Nilfgaard deck. Luckily I saved up some scraps for it.

Maybe the higher the level/rank, the less is the game able to pair... Sick this... Pairing should be completely random.

Completely random doesn't works that well. Imagine a lvl 30 player against a lvl 5 one. Also there are large deck strength differences there.

Well... How is it possible then that sometimes STILL the game pulls out a rank 4 against me who is able to thrash me thoroughly... Or previously it happened often than me being then rank 6 was put up against rank 14 and thrashed him... The same about the level... Even low level players are able to build good decks & develop good strategies...

Looks like the rank and level have absolutely no value...

The following is not meant as an expression of rage, just thoughts about the Weather Card changes.

So Merigold's Hailstorm, Skellige Storm and White Frost are now worse versions of Aeromancy (the exact same effect, just 1 less row to choose from) and due to the fact that Aeromancy is also a neutral silver card there is no point in using the other ones (exept if you want to use both and sacrifice more silver slots for even more flexible weather cards).
Of course Aeromancy has legendary rarity and the other ones are 'just' epic, but you don't get any advantages from playing epics instead of legendarys on the same slot, so Merigold's Hailstorm, Skellige Storm and White Frost got demoted into gap fillers that you only use if you haven't got / didn't want to spend scraps for Aeromancy yet.

I'm not saying that they didn't deserve a change after the Clear Skies rework, but they should get something worth playing instead of Aeromancy.
Maybe even something completely different.
For example White Frost could be like: Spawn Biting Frost this turn and the next turn.

I would rather vote for making the multiweather cards to what they were before... They were intended to work just like that and as they work now, they are senseless.
What am I missing? My Gwent was updated 7 days ago yet the latest update seems to be from the 20th of Feb?

I wish they'd post the version number on the page of full changes.

I am on version 0.8.60.1 is that the latest or not?

Ah ok thanks. Thought it best to check because it's happened in the past my game doesn't auto update and I have to verify files to force it to update
Ranked Matches "NORMAL" Again?

Well, don't know what happened, but "suddenly" after my e-mail to the support in the afternoon, all is back to normal, the game pairs me with opponents in seconds (usualy)... Hope I am not celebrating too early :D
My game refuses to update, every time I try to run the patch it says "update postponed, game is running."

This game is not running, I have no idea how to fix it.
