You just finished your training and your dad had to unexpectedly leave for work AGAIN. Not only that, but he stuck you with several of his other jobs! I guess it's good practice if nothing else.

No need to go it alone though. Your brother is in the same profession. In fact you completed your training together. Once you finished up your Dad's work, your first major job; a very valuable crystal was stolen. After investigating the scene you managed to track down the thieves & recover the crystal. Unfortunately though they managed to escape.

One more description tomorrow. After that hints if needed.

Well, after I posted it I realized it can't be it since the protagonist is the brother and he has a sister, so that can't be it. I wonder if it's a PC game though since I don't recall there being there many games about crystals?

The flight your dad was returning home on has gone missing! The army's in charge of the investigation, but they haven't released any information or updates about the situation. You're not one to sit around waiting for other people's answers anyway. You and your brother decide to walk to the neighboring city where the flight departed from to find out what happened. Your mentor, the one who trained both of you, is coming along to help with the investigation.

I was going to include a bit more, but while this is still earlier on in the game it's a bit spoiler heavy for my taste. Instead I'll include the first hint: The game is available for PC.

You start by going through a little bit of narrativ about what has happened; the city is infected with a virus that is spreading causing havoc. Your tale starts 18 days ago, when you awoke in the morgue with no memory of who you are, you just know you've been infected and the infection has changed you. You seek out your next of kin as listed in your death paperwork to find that you're not too late. You only know that you and she worked for the people responsible for your current state.
