ZFR: OK, a technical one then. Is it available on GOG?
Sadly, no.

edit: I just checked the Community Wishlist and guess what - it's been added there by JudasIscariot . No idea why, but it makes me hope we'll see it here someday.

Maybe it was before he joined the GOG staff, back when he was still a GOG user.

Maybe. Does that change the fact that he knew of this game and wanted to see it here? :-)
(Yes, I'm being optimistic here for not much of a reason, but hey, a man can dream, right?)

I just meant to point out in case you were expecting it soon that it's no reliable indication when we'll have it or not, but yeah, maybe you'll have it here soon! :)

Speaking of which, it looks like the game has been once again stalled a bit /got stuck, can you tell us something more about it? ;)

Y'see, there is this treasure. Nobody knows where it is. Nobody but that one guy. The problem is, that guy is in prison with no chance to get out. So what I did? Yeah, sure. I got myself locked up in the same prison. Now I need to break out of my cell and find that fella. Hope it's worth it...

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion? It had a quest like that. I've just seen, it's even listed in the popular "Get Into Jail for Free" trope. (Obligatory warning not to follow the previous link)

That's not the one I'm thinking about :)
The trope fits perfectly but my game is not mentioned in the article.
Could you please provide a hint concerning the *official* reason for getting into jail?

Happened before my adventure began.

Is this how the game begins, or just a (side)quest?

The game begins in a prison cell, you already met the man who knows the treasure location.*

Nope :)

*That is, after the intro with some small interactive segment in-between.
Gosh, I really hope my friends outside will help me to get out.
