Right in the current level on THIS game that's no currently available via any DD sites I have to first do some aerobatics, following a 'helicopter' taxi through the streets of New York before taking on a warehouse and carrier ship, once I start to do some damage a squadron of 6 planes (of 2 different types) comes for me and I have to take them all on myself, no wingmen for me on THIS mission!

Oh, is this a flight game in that case? If it is, then I have to say I won't have a clue as I've not played many, despite wanting to (no joystick at the moment, just a gamepad).

Yeah it's a flying game, I seem to be doing fine enough on it with my Xbox 360 pad, it's more from the Wing Commander school of knock-about fun flying games than a serious sim though...

Is it a Star Trek game?

Probably these games are somewhat less played. I, for example, can only remember Ace Combat Assault Horizon which I played very little (although enough to know that it's not it). Oh, yes, Elite too.
