Can you describe the location you're in when fighting the Dark Cloaks? (I'll go and ask some questions to speed this up :))

samwisegamgees: that's me stumped then :( I rarely play RTS

Green_Hilltop: No idea in that case, I haven't played that many RTS games.
Oooh, it's one of my favourite genres. Though I play the fantasy/medieval setting more, I've done my share of sci-fi too.

Haven't played a lot of the recent ones though, so I'll ask: when was it published? Pre 1995, 1995-2005 or post 2005?

I'm not fighting "Dark Cloaks" ("" are there on purpose), they are my most trusted units. I'm in Moscow in the center of the map. Rebels are southeast from me and three of my other enemies are Ukraine in the west, Northern Allies and Western Allies, the last two located where their name say.

1995-2005.

And since it's a new day, here a new general hint:
Boy, I don't know if I just got older or have turn based strategies "spoiled" me, but I'm pretty sure I would never beat this map if it wasn't for F3 which let's me pause the action and issue orders.
Maybe it's just this whole sci-fi campaign, I had so much more fun playing the ones set in ancient times, middle ages and WWI&II.

Of course, your turn. :)
For someone who loves RTS, and specifically the ones released in the 90s and early 2000s, it's embarassing to admit that I own this game on CD, but for some reason still haven't played it...
New one:

Fighting an ogre is a very challenging task. This guy is so strong that after one hit you'll be flying off several meters. In parts most probably. But OK, I can handle him. I just have to be careful and dodge his blows. That's fine. But what I'm supposed to do with two ogres?! How can I ever beat them?! It's ridiculous! Nevertheless I try. And fail. And again. And again and again and again. And then I see something. There is a potion there. And so it happens that it's a potion that is most helpful in this fight. I've wasted so much time trying to beat them straight away and this little potion makes it so much easier! I'm so stupid...
I vaguely remember a game that placed you in a dungeon that you had to escape from at the very beginning. Two hulking things were near the exit and you had to use some trick to get past them.
The sad thing is I don't remember the name of the game. Oh well, I'll try to guess it.

Is it Two Worlds?

No. It's not about escaping but killing those ogres ;) And it's more or less in the middle of the game.
I'm rather curious what this potion does. Does it make you grow in size?
Gothic2?

OK, it's not the one I was thinking about then.
What's the game's genre?
