Yay, it is my turn. And now to fumble around until I come up with a game and a decent idea on how to present it. :)

Sooo... here I am in this ship, where I managed to sneak into. I know that it is in this ship that is the valuable which I must "acquire" . The problem is, I managed to avoid being discovered until I was held at gunpoint for a crime that just happened but it wasn't me. It wasn't my girlfriend either. All is not lost however: I'm sure I can escape this cell.

Bump to remember people my challenge is still waiting to be called by its name.

I've started playing the game ( I confess: this was not the game I had been playing when I got Ghorpm's challenge right ) again to make sure I won't post misleading info. I'm thinking of posting a new hint tomorrow morning, but it is useless if no one is checking this thread.

Sounds like one of the Monkey Island games but I'm not sure which one.

I intended to post a scene following the one I described earlier, but a game breaking bug kept me from going much further yesterday. So I'm posting a scene from earlier instead. This is not as weird as it might look, because the game itself doesn't keep the story chronologically linear anyway.

PS: there will be a new hint in 24 hours if needed.
Edit: I'm sorry about spoilers below, but when you play the game you'll see some of them coming from a mile away.

Our plan is going perfectly. For months my boyfriend has been getting closer to the man who is the mastermind behind the theft. Our goal is a pair of valuables; the first one is in possession of this man (he stole it before the game started) but we'll steal it from him before the ship docks. We'll do it with such precision that he won't suspect a thing until it is too late for him and he's in jail.

This man is in an unassuming disguise too, masquerading as a lowly worker. My part now is to find a way into his employer's cabin where the valuable certainly is while playing The Ditzy blonde for anyone that could suspect me.

Not at all. This game is far from being based on humor the way Monkey Island is.
