ZFR: Is the view isometric, first person, or... ?
The camera like the disembodied narrator is always 30 to 40 feet above me. The camera however loves my choice in hats, while the disembodies narrator is firmly in the "all hats are dumb, {the protagonist's} hats are exceptionally dumb" camp.
Also I am extremely mobile compared to other games in my genre.

Who are those enemies? Are they human, robotic, monstrous?
...are there any orcs?

Funnily no orcs in my game, or steampunk style enemies in my game. I do fight all kinds of undead humans, mythical to superhuge sized 'normal' monsters, evil clowns, and other dimensional beasts like elementals and demons though. Luckily I can easily switch weapons on the fly. Vampires burn really nice with my lightning gun attacks, while spiders squish faster versus a hammer, and even though it doesn't really make sense, my rapiers don't suck versus skeletons

Victor Vran

Despite the best line being liberally inspired by (read word-for-word copied from - so we'll call it a tribute to) Firefly, and them then running with it far beyond the breaking point, I still love the game for it. :)

I have no chance of solving this one so (as many times before) I'm hoping the next one will be something I can answer. But it can't happen until this round is over.

So, did gogtrial34987 get it right or does the riddle remain unsolved?

Correct, VIctor Vran is the game.

I was running out of hints to give, final clue was going to be "People think I sound like Geralt of Riva when I speak english, but that's crazy talk...btw who is Geralt of Riva anyhow?".

I'm in a tough spot. Been on the run ever since I gunned down all those thugs that took over my father's house. Yet neither the railroad people nor to corrupt government scare me - it's this sore loser that sent his men to surround the saloon that is getting me just a bit worried. He locked all the doors, and cover isn't the best here. Sure, I'm a good shot, and so is the love of my life, but we're gonna need a lot of luck to win this fight.

Interesting, but I can't remember any games that fits perfectly.

What genre is the game from?

Hmmm... Hard West?

Lone_Scout: Hmmm... Hard West?
And we have a winner!

Your turn. :)
I can't remember who I am. I woke up shivering in that strange lab. Luckily I could escape, but did that creature that tried to hunt me escape too or did it end up locked down there? I'd better not find out...
I've scavenged the ruins in search for some equipment. Things that, many years ago, would have been discarded as plain trash, are now my most valued treasures. Cold and hungry, I can hear the barks of wild dogs, probably following my trail.
I'm not sure if I'll survive the night. But, suddenly, with nightfall comes hope. A distant gleam from the east.

Ghorpm: NEO Scavenger
Correct!
Your turn :)
I've already taken care of a doomsday device but now I learn there are three more of them? It's very suspicious but sadly I can't do anything else then take them down, one by one. Of course reaching them is not that easy - apparently I was in areas they are located before but the path was (one way or another) blocked. However, now I'm better equipped so there should be no problem in reaching them. And if I find some precious gems and artifacts on my way - even better, I'll upgrade my equipment even further.

Looks like it's an RPG.

What weapons do you use? And how do these doomsday devices work?
