joppo: By now I'm confident that I never played or even saw this game, but I don't want to resort to a search engine. There's no fun in winning this game that way. So I will continue asking for tips anyway and maybe they'll help someone else.

What genre is this game? And how do you use the sisters' skills? Do you build things with the engineer or hack computers with the nerdy girl?

Also, how old is the game? You don't need to provide year of release but just saying "mid-2000" or that sort of hint will be enough, I hope.
It's a recent game, mostly strategy I would say. You use sisters' skills in battle but it's up to you can only pick one of them to pilot a ship

YES! Finally :) your turn
I'm a little girl from a small village.
One day I was going home with my dog after an evening stroll.
But my dog got run over by a car so I went home alone.
At home my big sister thought I lost the dog so she went looking for it, but never return.
So now, I'm looking for my big sister ^^!

Hmm I have a suspicion, but I'm starting to think it's not a match. Is the game on Gog?

It is not.
And after reading the first post, I realize it must be the game on GOG...
Sorry.

Here's a new one, not currently playing though.
I'm a civil servant working for Ministry of Order.

Well, technically it's not obligatory to keep within Gog's limits, and there were several rounds of games from beyond already. But since we're not having too many players at once I think lowering the difficulty to Gog games only is a good move to keep us from spending a month in the same round.

So, for your new challenge I thought of three games: Need to know, Orwell and Papers, Please.

Having played neither of them I checked their game cards:
- in PP you work for the Ministry of Admission;
- in NtK you have a job with the Department of Liberty;
- Orwell's page doesn't tell what department you work for. So it's my guess.
And my guess is Beholder

joppo: snip
I get it now.
Should have read the first post.
I was just too excited to get a turn :))

Ghorpm: And my guess is Beholder
You're correct!
Your turn.

Wait, what? How come someone stealthily added this game when I wasn't looking?

Anyway, congrats on winning that round.
We are after the Beast! Luckily we have managed to convinced the locals that we are the most capable team to defeat it so they have given us a flare gun which will be useful to scare off most of its pack. The only problem is that in order to achieve our ultimate goal we are supposed to resolve every conflict in a friendly manner but I don't think it is the best tactic for the Beast. Oh well, I guess there will be other benefits for taking it down hard way.

Why is resolving the conflict situation in a friendly manner it's not the best tactic against the Beast? What is the deal with these conflicts, are we talking about different community groups through out the region? How exactly you managed to convince local people that you are the best for this task? What's the point in scaring its pack, even most of it, if you still need to get the Beast, certainly the strongest and deadliest of them all?

I guess the Beast will not calm down that easily and it is very aggresive so while we may try to be nice the whole pack will try to shred us to pieces. Not the best tactics if you ask me ;)

There are conflicts everywhere and you can try different approaches. You can be nice and try to convince your opponents that you have good intensions, you can use a brute force or you can crush the spirit of your opponents and discourage them.

For example we were nice to the locals and this way they became confident that we were up to the task.

We are strictly after the Beast so it is surely not a good idea to face it at full strength. By scaring away some of its pack we have a better chance to take it down.
