muntdefems: It's Tharsis, isn't it?
Yup, you're right!

Actually it's an understatement when I said it's a mix that works very well, it's a perfect, brilliantly balanced mix. The mixed reviews on Steam don't do this game justice.

Thanks! Hehehe, I knew right from your first clue that you were referring to "that weird mix of space adventure and board game", but I didn't remember its exact name. Now I had a couple of minutes, I browsed GOG's 'strategy' games catalog and I found it. :P

Anyway, here's what I've come just up with: "Damn, I shouldn't have accepted this job! I'm the best pest control professional in the area, but this is beginning to overcome me... Sure, at first there were only a bunch of insects, but as I went further down into these premises, I started finding giant reptiles, megachiropterae, and even Germanic mythological beings! If my employer hadn't trapped in here until I finished the job, I would have quit already."

I didn't know it's available here too. I now see it's not well known despite appearing in just recent Humble Bundle; I can heartily recommend it. :)

I have no idea what the paragraph you wrote would relate to for now, but it surely sounds hilarious!
Ooops, sorry! I meant to post a new clue yesterday night but I completely forgot... :S

I'm in a bit of a hurry right now, so I'll just clarify a bit my first clue: "Damn, I shouldn't have accepted this job! I'm the best pest control professional in the area, but this is beginning to overcome me... Sure, at first there were only a bunch of roaches, but as I went further down into these premises, I started finding serpents, giant bat-like creatures, and even goblins! If the King hadn't trapped in here until I finished the job, I would have quit already."

And indeed it is! :D

Your turn!
I was in a lab with a professor when a strange guy riding a green demon kidnapped a lady and took her to his castle. I will rescue her and blow up everything in my path

I need to get to the other side; I take a leap of faith on concrete, and gone I am that instant to the ponds of oblivion.

Can you say something about the settings? And describe your character?

The setting is such I can't even begin to comprehend it. Like another world dividing mine, endless, disappearing in my sight whether I turn left or right, wild giant beasts furiously roaring by, indifferent, and even the ground tremors before them.

Everything is even more perpetuated because I am so tiny and so alien to this. But I am pulled to the other side, it is in me since I came to be and I can't help it. I can see the world I know starting again there.
Somehow I make it to the other side and now a wide river stretches before me. Luckily trees like it for they swim in it lot, so I can hop them to my pond and my dirt hole full ob bugs. Yum yum.
Frogger!
(Or one of the later, lesser, clones?)
