I'll pass again - a lot of work ;) Anybody may take my turn
OK I'll take over then. Again I'll phrase as if I'm stuck. This is from a game I played very recently:

HELP! How do I beat the second-last level? All those wyverns hand me my ass on a plate before I can establis myself properly!

As an additional hint, here is a note from another satisfied customer, from a different forum:

NOTE: The only change I made is replace the developer name with *****. I left the rest exactly as he posted them. It contains some mature (or rather immature) language, so kids and sensitive people, cover your eyes while reading this.

The level 49 is F%^% insane, there's around 500 wyverns (all at the same time attacking me right at the start of the level) This level is impossible to complete. F^% this game, F%^^ *****, F&*^ the programmers and lastly F@#$ the testers to let this game see the light. DAMN IT!

PS: I don't want a strategy to complete the level, I'm so upset that I DON'T WANT TO PLAY THIS PIECE OF SH!T GAME ANYMORE. I'm just ranting to release the fury and frustration for playing stupid games like this one.
We need more people to play this if this is to continue. Anyone knows how to recruit others?

Magic Carpet?

toxicTom: Magic Carpet?
Yes, go ahead.
Ok, this is the part where I was stuck very recently:

Ok, I've found the secret switch... up there. Well it wasn't that secret - it glows and seems to emanate musical sound. Now how to activate it? I could use one of those flying things and try to shoot it. I think this is how it it supposed to work. But damn - I can't shoot! I think I hit some kind of bug here.

Trying and trying and trying. Reloading when I run out of those flying things - I just doesn't work.

Ok, I've found another solution. Standing in the right place I can shoot the damn switch with an arrow. I just have to remember to get dressed again afterwards...
Need more hints?

Ok, I've already completed the main game. This is the add-on (included here on GOG).

I think we still need more hints. Getting dressed part is confusing me...

Ok. When I equipped the bow I suddenly stood there without armor - seems like heavy plate and bows don't work together. At least I can swim wearing it this time - in the first part of the series I would have instantly drowned.
I few more pointers. The place where I was stuck is in the add-on of the second game of a series available here on GOG.

Could we please provide only actual gameplay hints, especially if it's only the second hint as it's not really much fun in my opinion - unless someone already has an idea from the first hint, this second hint won't tell anyone anything unless you want to go recalling all games with a DLC here and then guessing which one could it be or go searching for them (which isn't the point of this game, at least not for me). For me the point is to recognize or guess the game from the description of the actual gameplay or a specific situation/level, not from some technical info (I don't mind if it's accompanying an actual hint, but I just dislike if it's given as a main hint, esp. if it's the second hint).

Could you provide us with a more specific hint, like the surroundings? Or something about the current objective in the place where you are? This sounds like any random first-person RPG (or in some cases an isometric one), so without having played the specific one you're talking about it's a bit hard to guess which one you're talking about, unless we want to go and search through all the released DLCs here and try to decide which one would fit the most - which isn't very fun.

Oh c'mon! Are you serious? This is the second time you've done this. This is like saying to someone who has no idea what you're talking about so far "oh, and the place I'm describing is located in the world's 3rd largest trout fishing sector". Unless you already have some idea of what could it be or have a knowledge of the world's bigest trout fishing sectors (analogy to the knowledge of addons on GOG), it doesn't help a thing. As I said in my post above, unless I want to go and either mentally map all the series with DLC/addons I can remember and try to guess which would fit (which people would've done already with your second hint if they could) or unless I go and actually search for them here (which a) is not fun and b) not a point of the game at all), this doesn't help at all. Edit: This is not personal, I just get annoyed over things like this - I thought it would be obvious people so far have no idea about the game, so telling us it's the second game from a series won't help at all.

Ok. ok, that wasn't very helpful I guess. I suspect that the current participants just don't know the game(s) otherwise the part about "undressing to shoot bow" would be very obvious I think.

More, not sure it will help:

I'm going through all this to find a treasure. A legendary treasure - but noone knows what it actually is. It's supposed to grant what you desire most... But I'm not looking for this treasure for myself. Someone gave me the task to find it - and someone who actually was not very nice (but I have changed this a little - he really wasn't wholly himself).

The guy who built this place - this underground complex with the hidden switch - probably has found the treasure. He created a map that brought me here - where all of his recordings are stored.

After I hit the switch with an arrow, a door opened to the next room - a big guardian is standing inside. To continue I have to wake and defeat it. Seems it can only be woken by a specific tune played on a specific instrument. Did I mention that I suck at music minigames?

PS: sorry for the many typing errors. I have a slight case of conjunctivitis and my vision is kind of blurry, so I skip the proof-reading a little.
