Green_Hilltop: Here I go again - I really like jumping. It's such a fun bouncing off the backs of these turtles, if they only weren't so much aggressive! Seriously, who ever saw turtles with guns?
I haven't played them, but jumping + turtles, is it a Mario game?

Karwelas: Yep. It was a little easy but good timing. Your turn bro.

Green_Hilltop: I thought that was it right away after reading the first sentence, the second confirmed it. :)

Mari0? The freeware Mario / Portal mash-up?

My first thought was also Mario, but than I thought, turtle with guns??? Hmmm.... seems like another game or I seriously forgot/missed some stuff :D
Jazz Jackrabbit perhaps? I recall doing some shooting but do not remember if the turtles shot back.

Yep, you're right! For some reason I thought the turtles had guns, I think they might've had in one of the episode selection pictures, maybe that's why (otherwise I would've also included the fact he wears the red Rambo-style headband and either that he's an animal/has fur or he's green). Anyway, you got it right, so it's your turn.

Just curious, how many people have played JJ or heard of the game? I think it's pretty good and it would be cool if GOG brought it here, but I don't know if there's much chance.

I know it. Coming from Amiga I was pretty spoiled by the abundance of good platformers and other "scrolling" games there. I knew that the PC lacked in this category, but I didn't know just how much. JJ is one of the few games that came close to this "Amiga" experience, and I would love to have it here.

I saw it once at a friends house. It looked interesting, I would considere buying it, if it ever made its way here. And according to the wishlist quite a few people think the same :-)

Yeah, by my reckoning it's the 19th most voted for game that actually seems to have some chance of turning up at some point!
(used to be higher before all the LucasArts games suddenly looked a whole lot more likely!)

I am a bit busy to come up with a game right now so I nominate Fever_Discordia to take my turn.
So here I am, just a simple engineer on a terraformed Ganymede, knee deep in critters straight from HR Gieger's sketchbook, I mean there ARE military personnel around but a lot of the time I can't help feeling I'd be better off by myself, it's one thing that I keep having to pull their arses out of the fire but the fact that they keep taking all the credit REALLY takes the pee...

Faces of Mankind?

Failing that, something from the Doom series?

How about Shadowgrounds and/or Shadowgrounds: Survivor?

Yep that's the one!
I meant 'mechanic' not 'engineer' BTW! I Do know there's a difference!
