Sanjuro: First and foremost, could you describe the protagonist?
Yes, he's a young fellow wearing jeans, a red hoodie and a cap backwards on his head. Looks like 15 years old.

I should've guessed. :-D
I'm masochistic enough to be doing 2 playthroughs simultaneously - both the male character one and the female character one
It's a little annoying though as, even though some of the animations are different both chars play pretty much the same and most of the level stages are identical to BUT just enough are completely different to make it seem like you'd be missing out if you only played through as one of them

Anyways - both of my characters are stuck at the same stage but it's one where they play very different roles - the female's stage involves running on catwalks around a central pillar (I think she's trying to get to a point to play explosive charges) while people pop out and try to shoot her

While the male character's stage is to cover the female with a sniper rifle while she does this
(the 2 stages are separate - you can't co-op it or anything)

Can you tell us more about the setting?
Is it modern age/futuristic/steampunk/clockpunk/whatever? What are the factions that the protagonist interacts with (terrorists/revolutionaries/government forces/etc.)?
And what is the protagonists' favourite food? Do they eat?

modern day, or maybe the future or maybe not!

mainly security forces who think you are terrorists and in a way, I guess you kinda are
Oh and at one point, there are some vampires, randomly, that don't seem to fit with the rest of the setting / mythos

Green_Hilltop: And what is the protagonists' favourite food? Do they eat?
yes they are humans
their favourite food MIGHT be the finest caviare and champagne, despite the fact that they've only ever REALLY eaten reconstituted protein from fungi, dead people and human waste, probably
