Ghorpm: A few more hints: the protagonist knows English, French and Russian. The aforementioned journey is slightly less then 3000 km long.

EDIT. No, it's not this. Max's first language is German :)
Thinking about it... I guess my protagonist knows German too. But he doesn't speak Serbian and I bet he wished he would.

It wasn't supposed to be like this. Because of my background they sent me to deal with this crook and organize some supplies for them or whatever. But because some old grudges that crook doesn't even want to let me in! Well, I'll have to find another way in... That pump looks interesting... Maybe if I break it someone will go out to check?
And then, well, I guess some heavy guns diplomacy needs to happen...

He's not a human nor a humanoid. He's a baron of criminal underworld but details of his criminal activities are not described apart from his rivality with another underworld baron.

- Only game I can think of that potentially has non-humanoid crime bosses in it!

Unless it's Star Wars and the crime boss is a Hutt, I guess..
