So we have this murder case. Police, as usual, proved to be a bunch of incompetent idiots. They immediately assumed that it was a famous serial killer. All I can say is that the real murderer tried to make it similar but the differences are huge. Different type of victim, different murder weapon (even if somewhat similar), stolen jewelry... someone is trying to get away with this murder... I have to find out why this woman has been killed...
Still Life perhaps?

Sounds like a cool game whatever it is. It could be a thousand budget adventure games or CSI or something.

I havn't played it but is it Heavy Rain perhaps?

Could you tell us if it's well known or budget or indie game? How bout the genre? Year?

It's not Heavy Rain.

Point and click, early 90s, definitely nobody would say "WTF is this?! I've never heard of anything like that" after hearing the game's title. And it's one of my favorite games ever ;)
I'm out with early adventure games.
When and where is the game taking place?

That's the one! I can't recommend it strong enough! It's not only a great p&c adventure but it also captures the spirit of Sherlock Holmes novels. You won't be making a weird combinations in your inventory, most of he puzzles are based on observations and conversations so be sure to use "look at" option as often as possible!
Can't think of anything, I guess anyone may post one now. :P
