New hints!
I managed to escape from the prison through toilet hole and the sewers full of rats. There are also crocodiles, and jumping on them can be very tricky as controls in this game are horrid. This sewer water must be radioactive (well it is rather green and somewhat glowing), as our hero dies even it he touches it.

New hints#2!
Puzzles are ok in general but this radio/code machine one that is needed to make the phone work is just awful. You have to adjust 3 buttons and it's just pure luck, as you don't have any indication if you're getting close to solving the puzzle or not. I bet majority of (few) people who played this lousy game gave up at this point.
And if they did they were smart, as up next are few races. Oh boy, why did developers even add something as miserable as this into already bad game, totally unneeded and utterly unpleasant experience.

Windows 7 32-bit. But when this game was released, XP was ruling confidently.
Long answer: This is a obscure game (like that previous one you guessed), I don't believe any Tex Murphy game can be considered as obscured (at least around here). ;)

More annoyance present in this game in the form of press the right directional key at the right time "a la dance sim".
This game surely deserves a medal for making rather easy tasks hellishly hard because of it buggy controls.
As I already said, the only thing that's kind of okay in this game are the puzzles. They are not hard but you need to make various interactions to finish them.
For example if you want to shave while visiting some kind of factory you have to find a pot, pour water from the broken car cooler into it, put that on some "fire pit", light the fire pit, place the rusty razor into the boiling pot and then use the clean razor and shaving foam at the waterless sink in the bathroom.
