Laberbacke: Just make every day sale day. Feels like it already.
lol i hear you on that, at what point does a game that is regularly on 'sale' become the normal price? some games spend most of the year at sale price, in the US there are laws regarding artificial price setting and false sales.
As close to an Insomnia Sale as it gets, I guess... But it'll do!
Will Kerbal Space Program ever get a bigger discount than 40%? Otherwise a nice sale.
it's a good thing the last point of the faq is who is gog. within all this madness i forget what gog.com was. i thought they sold puppies. thanks for reminding me who gog is. very useful :P

Leroux: So the concept of this sale is: one newly discounted game added every half hour, and then it stays on sale for 6 hours? Is that right?
Every hour. At least now at the beginning of the sale. According to the FAQ, later on they'll stay for 8 hours.

Also, these first deals don't seem to be 'added' to the sale, as e.g. Darkwood was already 30% off before it appeared as a Flash Deal at the top of the store page. I'd bet the new one coming in less than 30 minutes is already discounted.
Thanks for fixing AI War Collection problem! o/
Finally we get flash deals again :)

Edit: Sexy brutale isn’t being recognised by GOG connect from my steam account, dunno why though.

Edit 2: Did a refresh and came back after fiive minutes, it works now!

Vythonaut: hope there will be many good deals -- Deus Ex certainly is one of them, a milestone that shouldn't be missed by the fans of the genre. The same can be said for Thief, such a great game.
Exactly! I've finally bought Thief and I'd cry about missed chance for Deus Ex (no longer available, was also waiting for months on my wishlist), but thanks to bjgamer I've already got one :D
However if the game comes back in such a great flash deal, I'll definitely buy a copy as a gift for someone.

Thanks GOG. I've never participated in your flash sale and I really like the idea. Not sure about my boss, but, well... ;)
Awww shucks, I got tricked into buying something I didn't intend to.

I have Shadowrun Hong Kong Extended Edition base game already, so I noticed there's a deal for the Shadowrun Extended Edition Deluxe. Since I have the base "extended" already, I went with the "Deluxe Edition" upgrade.

From its description I got an impression it adds a new campaign etc.... but no, apparently the Deluxe Edition (upgrade) is merely the soundtrack and an artbook? The new campaign that the upgrade mentioned is something that is already in the base extended edition.

Damn confusing these super hyper duper extended deluxe golden editions with a cherry on top. Oh well, I hope the artbook and soundtrack will blow my mind and my socks off, that they really are worth that 2€ I used on them.

Just to think what else I could have bought with 2€, like a half pint of cheap beer and one millisecond with a very high-class escort. Then I would have given the beer to the escort so that she would have forgotten the passage of time, maybe giving me even two milliseconds with her.

Nah my wife wouldn't have approved that anyway, so better this way.

Funny. Sexy Brutal is recognized for me but Tempest is not.

Hikage1983: Thank you very much for KoF 2002, much appreciated.

Not sure if ill buy anything from the sale due to Trails of Cold Steel 2 coming out tomorrow but we'll see.
Darn it, I really should pay more attention to planned releases.

Hmm, that means that I must finish my NG+ playthrough (about halfway through) this evening to have decent save to continue...

Well, you can definitely try giving him a Deus Ex copy. ;)

Your wife probably wouldn't notice those two milliseconds. :D
Anyway, I got to buy some real game too. I promised myself to buy Hands of Fate if they bring the DLC to GOG (which they did a long time ago, finally), and now I finally fulfilled the promise, with a price that seemed agreeable.

Bought both the base game + Wildcards DLC. I earlier waited also because I wanted to be sure if there are other DLCs coming too and maybe even a gold edition, but now as the sequel Hands of Fate 2 is being sold too, I guess the first game is complete and done. Good time to buy it then.
