Hehe, it's nice and surprising to see such a positive OP about the community.
I agree that there are some good people here that help others (giveaways, scripts, lists, etc) but there are many hostile and crazy users too.
But well, this place is probably great compared to toxic competitive games communities..

Gylfe: I just wanted to say that GoG really has a great community.

I don't have time to post often, so when I do it's usually for a reason. I've never experienced or seen flaming or trolling in our community. Of course there are some heated discussions from time to time, and I think we had some bots trying to post links at times, but everyone on here is kind and helpful to each other. New members and veterans are all treated with respect and welcomed.

This compared to most game forums as you all know is a world of difference. The PDX forums are an honest joke between the trolls and the forum moderators, you'd have a more difficult time finding a member willing to engage in a normal discussion or answer a question. EA's forums are the same, although better than PDX. GoG is the only community that is consistently a pleasure to be a part of and participate in.

Thank you all for that, and thank you GoG for being here!

Happy 10th anniversary and let's all keep the DRM free, greatest gaming platform getting stronger for another 10 years!

If you think it's great now, you should have been here five years ago. People were less up their own backsides, cared less about DRM and spent more time on having a good laugh and actually playing games.

Agreed. Used to be a few bad-apples around, but luckily most have left, or were banned. Unfortunately a few good ones left as well. The forum does seem a bit, how shall I put this, reserved(?) lately. Used to be more free-for-all and engaging, for better or worse in any case.
