The Summer Sale on GOG is in full swing and today we have another hot surprise for you. For the next 48 hours, you can claim your copy of Venetica - Gold Edition. This classic action RPG will be up for grabs in our store until 12th June 2022, 1 PM UTC.

If you’re looking for more great RPGs, both classic and modern, visit our RPG Collection. Until the end of the Summer Sale on 27th June 2022, at 10 PM UTC, you’ll find many outstanding titles there, with discounts reaching even 90%:

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura (-30%)
Gothic (-75%)
Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Imperial Edition Bundle (-66%)
Happened to me as well, email received an hour or so after promotion ended, did a support ticket to let them know. They should just give us the game, it's only fair, the mistake was on their end.
Not much point sending out the email, was there? It arrived a little over 2 hours before the 48-hour offer ended, just before Sunday lunch. If you're out walking the dog, then making lunch for the family you don't even get a chance to see the email, let alone claim it! Pointless; just looks like it's done in bad faith and breeds bad feeling.

Whelp, I got the email ten hours after the giveaway ended. It was twelve hours before I saw it. Guess I'll fire up the ole time machine. Been meaning to kill baby Hitler anyway.
got the email ~20 minutes ago.
seeing the other replies guess something went wrong with the mailer.
Wonder if it's not a case of GOG's strategy of making everyone sign up for newsletters for a freebie backfiring, so many new signups appearing after the Sanitarium freebie that the servers, already struggling with the promo notifications from the sale, couldn't keep up.
Same thing here. My email says I received the message two hours ago, more than four hours after the giveaway ended. I was very confused when I clicked on the link and couldn't find it anywhere.
I received the email almost 7 hours after the giveaway ended as well.

It's been doing it for years... I used to be signed up to the deals and offers email notifications quite a while ago, but being quite a frequent visitor to the web site/forum, I was noticing the freebies and discounts being post on the front page, and occasionally making use of, or claiming them. Then days later, receiving email notification about offers I had already knew about or benefited from, I realised that signing up was a waste of time, so I no longer do...
I, too, received the e-mail after the giveaway was already over with. I was so confused, looking around for an answer, until I found this thread and others with the same issue. Oh well...

What is the point of sending me an email telling me to claim this game 30 minutes ago if the giveaway ended 12 hours ago? wth is this bs?
Got the email for this giveaway after the giveaway lmao got it at 9pm on June 12
Thx for sending an mail about this, AFTER this giveaway has ended! ...

I am agreeing with the people that did ask about the e-mail regarding Venetica.

I have no particular interest in Venetica, but I do find it a little weird that you sent me an e-mail telling me there was a giveaway of the game when the giveaway had already expired.
