Anyone else with this problem?
I finally got my refund for CP2077 to my GOG wallet, but it's still possible for me to access the game and download offline installers. Multiple account refreshes didn't have an effect.
Does this take some time/days? I've never refunded anything else, so I don't know.
looks like the refunder support did a mistake
It's normal to be able to play a game after refunding it, to GOG's credit Galaxy is not like Steam where it locks you out of the files you already have installed. I don't know about downloading stuff.
Now it's gone. So case solved.

Out of curiosity, are the files gone too? I've never known Galaxy to delete installed games by itself, so it may still be playable.
I don't use galaxy so I don't know.

It would be interesting to know this, although it would be immoral to play something that has been refunded.

I think if you refund something, the TOS probably say that you should delete all offline files - and even if they don't, you have a moral obligation to do so.
This happens sometimes where the refund is faster than the game being removed from the game library. It happened to me a few times.

I stopped reporting after the first time since I know GOG will get to it eventually, they always do. For me, none of those games were ever downloaded before or after the refund request, so there were no files for me to worry about and no reason for GOG to ask why.

Better safe than sorry I guess lol.
.
you can still access any game thats been refunded as they can not remove your files. it wont show up in your galaxy collection but will still be on your pc.

But are obliged (morally and legally) to delete them, as they are no longer owned by the account granted the refund...
Necro time!

I refunded STALKER 2 the day after release and it still shows that I own it 1 week later.
GOG was very very fast with refund, I got my money back to my bank account the day after I initiated the refund.

Of course I immediately deleted the game, but I wonder if I'll have to contact support if I want to buy the game again, or will it be fixed by that point? Anyway, just wanted to share that this still happens.

It took them 2 weeks to remove two Yakuza games from my account (good games, just didn't actually need them yet). Some games are removed instantly but they definitely could be faster on others.

I assume most of us who actually spend money here are following the rules and holding up our end of the bargain so it's probably not a huge deal.
Baffling. You'd think the library entries would simply be nulled or commented out instantly, then annuled from your account proper once your local money exchange and the staff at GOG came to an understanding.

You may need to contact support. I recently refunded Atlas Fallen (store credit) on the day after release due to a newsletter discount the next day. I got the requested refund within two hours, but it took several days before I could use a discount code on the game because "I already owned it" They had to manually clear that flag for me. But the game was not available to me, nor was I stopped from attempting to purchase it normally once the refund cleared, this was only in regard to discount codes. GOG, did get back to me and gave me the discount even though it had expired since it was their error.

Alright, thank you. I'm not planning on buying it again so soon.
Probably some time next year if they fix the issues. So hopefully it will be gone by then.

Thanks everyone for the replies!
