Sir Roger Moore is dead at the age of 89, after a short battle with cancer. Thank you for all the entertainment you have offered and may you rest in peace.

Rest in peace, Sir Roger Moore.
Sad news. Had a great career though.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Moore.
2017, I am seriously disappointed in you, kill some villains instead fucker! anyway, cancer sucks, it is one nasty beast which has killed many good people.

Always did prefer him as Bond compared to the others.

Connery was in second place, but that whole Scottish speaking British spy always seemed odd, just like his Russian/Scottish (Russish?) in Hunt for Red October.

Or Scottish/Spanish/Egyptian

RIP Roger
All those Villains expected him to die... they just didn't expect it to take so long.
Too bad, he was a good actor.
As Bond and The Saint he was great.
Still, he reached a respectable age.
He seemed like a true gentleman, and was a great James Bond. Live and Let Die might be my favorite in the series. Wouldn't have been the same film without Roger Moore.
Oh fuck! Man, he was one of the two actors who truly was James Bond.
Rest in peace, Mr. Bond.
:-(
I think it's time to show classic 007 movies to my son...
I just love Moonraker. So cheesy and yet so damn good!
I believe he was the first Bond I ever saw. So sad. :(
I grew up watching The Saint and Persuaders, very sad news indeed :(

Same. Oh well, he has had a (presumably) very nice and obviously long life. RIP, though. I always liked him, he was one of those joyful actors who could always put a smile on my face.
