Nope, games don't require Galaxy to run even if they were installed with it. Not sure where you got your information from, but it's incorrect.

That is not true. You can start the game without Galaxy too. Just go to the install folder and double click the exe-file.

There are shortcut files in the folders, too. Better use them if there are parameters needed to hand over.

Okay, I understand the question. It wouldn't have been hard to find the answer yourself, but hey, in the internet age we ask - we don't think...

However, if you're going to ask a question, it may be wise to wait for answers before you reach a conclusion, instead of making up an answer yourself and then getting all fired up about it.

Of, course I've never actually bought a game here either. In fact, I hate gaming. I just come in here to hang out with all of you.

So I don't have to download 60 different files individually and then install a bunch of them one by one maybe? Because if I click on the games icon the client starts up and then I have to click play within the client to get the game to run. How is that "not requiring the client"?

Just use it as an installer or downloader then, there is absolutely no obligation to keep the client running to play the games as others have mentioned.
