So still forgetting CN/RO/RS, I see. Forgot these regions when the price increased, still forgot them when it decreasted. Hm.

No less interesting is RU/UA/UZ in the two games.

Someone reported a few days ago that GOG's Witcher 3 price was higher than Steam in Canada when you took the exchange rate and fees into account. Looks like it's even moreso now.

In general it looks like the price of games is increasing on its own on one front, the exchange rate between CAD<->USD is increasing, and the price of games specifically to Canada is increasing.

In one way that sucks, but in another way it is actually cheaper because I assume it just means many of us gamers will simply resist buying games whimsically and only buy games we intend to play right this second. I've put my buying on hold for now unless an amazing bundle deal shows up or similar. Essentially it means those of us with patience just have to wait longer to get a title, but how hard is it to have patience with our immense backlogs? :) Sooner or later something has to give I figure. I'm gonna keep the tea warm and hold the fort. :)

These are not the prices I see, it's $55.89 and $83.89, respectively.
Additionally, the former comes with no FPP while the latter does.

That's because there was a currency exchange rate update after the game's price drop, which resulted in the € getting stronger and thus, its equivalent $ price getting more expensive.

Explained by Grargar. Report of the conversion rate effects will arrive in about 4-5 hours (when I get home).
An Interesting side effect of releasing a game.

Until this morning, if you bought the three older Rayman titles (not Origins) together, you got a bundle discount of $1.00 per game (i.e. 16.7% off). Now that there are four older titles that bundle discount is gone.

So no more regional pricing for regCN (or actually for regUS, since CN is the base). Apparently they finally got around to fixing it now that it was brought up in the what broke thread.

I was wondering why there was no fair price package for Witcher 3, but the price drop for both Spacecom and Witcher 3 in the regCN/RO/RS territories made me realize that you get a fair price package, not when you pay more than the RegUS, but only when you pay more than the RegCN price, which explains why I wasn't getting a fair price package for either of the games.

I wonder if they'll notice regCA at some point.

Yes. But as Cavalary has already mentioned, after these price changes regCN and regUS are currently identical. For now.

For now, indeed.
