micktiegs_8: Everything got slightly more expensive for me since yesterday. Yay.
Yes. For Russia too..
Regionally priced games became cheaper (in RU and AU at least) and flat priced games became more expensive...right? I'm confused by the most recent post in the local prices thread and the information given in this topic.

It depends on which currency you're buying in (EUR, RUB, USD, GBP).

In USD, the prices of regionally priced games have gone down in AU/CH/CZ/DE/GB/IT/MC/NO/NZ/PL/RO/RS/RU/SE/UA/UZ, while the prices of flat priced games haven't changed.

Since MaGog is not monitoring prices in other currencies, I do not want to commit to an answer as to what changed there, although I believe I have a pretty good notion.

etc..
A reminder; when a currency gets stronger, flat-priced games become cheaper (in your local currency) as the conversion rate is more beneficial for your currency. The opposite is also true (a weaker currency results in more expensive flat-priced games).

Regarding regionally-priced games, their value is always the same in their local currency. For instance, regardless of any kind of fluctuation, Wasteland 2 Digital Classic will always cost €40. The only things that will change are the value of the fair price package and the equivalent $ price. A stronger local currency will increase the value of both, while a weaker local currency will decrease them.

Oh, I've just been seeing it in my own price as I look at games on the front page. Numbers are easy to remember. Unless you were asking Baggins specifically.

Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, since I do not follow AUD prices, can you give an example or two of prices you remember to have changed.

Well, not exact numbers, but they've increased nonetheless. Underrail was $20.xx now it is $21.49, nuclear throne was $16.xx now it is $17.19.

Probably exchange rate related no doubt, but even then, those numbers are off a little. I did say 'slightly more expensive' :p

That's fine. I just wanted to make sure that you were talking about games that are not regionally priced in Australia.

Regionally priced games (e.g. most recently, the two mini-campaign Stronghold Crusader 2 DLCs) most likely did not change their AUD price.

oh okay, my bad.
Without a doubt, those two haven't changed :)

Wasn't implying any "bad". Just trying to make sure I understand GOG's workings correctly.
