I have a program that checks out the price for over a hundred or so favorites I have on my GOG Wishlist. It takes a couple of minutes to run and report results. I usually run the check once a day, often twice many hours apart. No changes were detected a few minutes ago.
Yesterday, I noticed somewhat of an oddity, where prices only changed by cents for a good number of them, while usually it is by a few dollars one way or the other. I am talking base price, not discounted, where often it can just be a matter of cents between last discount for a game and the current discount for that game.
I see this at Amazon all the time, with ebooks, where I guess it is tied to the US Dollar. It never happens on the Kobo ebook store that I have ever noticed.
So on GOG it left me wondering why?
Here's the results, in AUSSIE Dollars.

Banished (lower by $0.89) from $30.89 to $30.00.
Dungeons 2: A Game of Winter (lower by $0.39) from $15.39 to $15.00
Dungeons 2: A Song of Sand and Fire (lower by $0.20) from $6.19 to $5.99
Earth 2140 Trilogy (lower by $0.29) from $9.29 to $9.00
Epic Tavern (lower by $1.10) from $38.59 to $37.49
Feist (lower by $0.39) from $15.39 to $15.00
Ignition (lower by $0.39) from $15.39 to $15.00
LEGO Bricktales (higher by $9.46 from last change)(highest) no base price change
Soldier of Fortune: Payback (lower by $0.39) from $15.39 to $15.00
The Final Station (lower by $0.70) from $23.19 to $22.49
The Inner World - The Last Wind Monk (lower by $1.10) from $38.59 to $37.49
TimeShift (lower by $0.89) from $30.89 to $30.00.
Tropico 3 Gold Edition (lower by $0.30) from $11.59 to $11.29.
UnderRail (lower by $0.70) from $23.19 to $22.49
Zombasite (lower by $0.89) from $30.89 to $30.00.
As can be noticed there are similarities with same initial base price and end result for some. Other than that I haven't seen any factor to indicate why, as a change did not occur for the greater majority of the hundred plus.
