immi101: wow, look at State of Mind. Somebody knows that Eastern Europe exists ;)
They know that it exists for the DLCs only, and even there we're apparently still wealthier than the US (and other base price countries), UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Norway...

Thanks for the listing of those titles - that is quite interesting, as some of them do have the same situation, even though they came out a while ago. AU games on GOG are usually slightly cheaper, or just the same as the US price, with onl;y a few increased. It is similar on Steam - almost all titles are equally priced with the base US price, only a few (mainly from big publishers/'high-profile' titles) have increased prices. The bit that annoys me is the games that are perfectly happy to charge AU region just the normal US base price on Steam; but when it comes to GOG's AU region pricing they put up the price.

At least in We Happy Few's case, I do think there must be some kind of problem on Steam's side right now, because they are published by Gearbox (who has some 100% price increases for AU regional prices for their own titles on Steam...), so I think it's unlikely that they somehow don't know how to apply regional pricing and are still unable to fix it days after being made aware. The devs have assured me that charging GOG customers more than Steam customers is not their intention, and that the Steam price is incorrect.

Unfortunately, some of those others do seem fairly deliberate at charging GOG customers more though. eg Mafia III already has a AU base price more than the normal US price on Steam (eg AU price is USD$49.95, US price is USD$39.99), but it's been made more expensive again for the GOG AU price (USD$53.69).

as muntdefems already mentioned: exchange rates got updated, so lots of noise in the price data.
I very well might have missed some real change when scanning through that. But it seems we got some good things in between all that price shuffling: three more games without regional pricing and The Long Journey Home dropped the base price by 10$.

Seems like you're posting the full regional pricing scheme only when there are cases of "No longer regionally priced in region(s)" or/and "Now regionally priced in region(s)" additionally to other price changes. Is this accurate, or are there other criteria?

I can't find the regional pricing scheme for the game itself, and I checked the last 15 pages. What am I doing wrong?

Yep, you're right. The actual rule is to post the full scheme only if there are some unaffected regions (regions with regional prices, I mean), which amount to the cases you pointed out.

I realize though that it gets confusing in these cases because there's no mention of the base price anywhere, so that's something I should be fixing soon.

Possibly one of those things that got lost in the noise that were mentioned?

And something weird is going on with your avatar...

nothing :)
seems the game was already in the catalogue when Magog went into Legacy Mode and I started the price tracking, which is why I didn't register it as "new". And Magog deleted all "upcoming games" from its database when going to Legacy Mode, so it isn't tracked by Magog either.
This affected like two dozen games or so iirc. Probably would be possible to track all those down and make sure they don't fall through the cracks.
but having some attentive readers in this thread also works ;)
will add that one to the price watch later today
