ciemnogrodzianin: Any particular reason they are doing something like this? It makes no sense! Sorry, if it's obvious or if it was explained somewhere before.
ask GOG and/or the publisher .... because I have no idea
you are totally right: it doesn't make sense

maybe some publishers simply don't pay attention ... ??
"just set one price for whole europe and we're done"
i wonder how many (american) publishers could even point at Serbia on a map? :p

speaking of curious pricing.
The SuddenStrike developer evidently loves Sweden :)

Pretty sure it's GOG, who adjusted their defaults to include those into the Eurozone instead of leaving them outside the typically regionally priced regions. Otherwise how could you explain the fact that most new entries, regardless of publisher, suddenly have that pricing as of one day?
Publishers probably just click OK at whatever's suggested.

And hates Denmark, but just a liiiiiiitle bit more than Norway. If it were a Paradox game, the Danish price would probably be in triple digits. :P

Cavalary: Price drop to $19.99... I'm getting wallet funds for the difference already. MaGOG probably updated right in between.
Yep, you're right. One has to wonder if all this time the game has been selling on many regions for a price that was never intended...

GOG has a certain tendency to update prices during MaGog's refreshes:

---------------------------

Pricing changed for Train Fever

>>> Base price changed from $34.99 to $19.99
>>> Price history for this game: On June 30, 2017, price changed from $34.99 to $19.99

Considering their "feature-rich" online search engine, I would not be surprised if they use MaGOG for price management ;)

Yes, especially for River City Ransom: Underground, where we've got price increase placing us among the richest of the richest, which is true for enthusiasm and joy of life, indeed, but unfortunately it isn't for GDP ;)

There may be some truth in that, actually...

At least this time around Amanita Design don't screw anybody and all the regional prices are below base:

---------------------------

The newly added game Botanicula Soundtrack + Art Book [DLC] is regionally priced:

>>> It is $3.07 instead of $4.99 in regAR, BR, CL, CO, MX, PA, PE, UY
>>> It is $2.99 instead of $4.99 in CN
>>> It is $2.89 instead of $4.99 in RU, UA, regUZ

Once again it's completely stupid regional pricing. Great Britain, Australia, Canada, Norway and Sweden get a discount, while Poland, Romania, Slovakia and several other eastern and southern Europe ha´ve to pay more than the average. Yeah, I'm sure it's all about fairness...
Hey! How about some truly good news for a change? Paradox seem to have decided to be significantly less dickish, and have removed most of their regional prices, while further reducing others.

Unfortunately some regions have seen their prices increased for some games so they're not universal Good News, but they're pretty close.

The full details are quite long and would require several posts. I'm attaching a text file with all the information. REMEMBER TO DOWNLOAD IT AND CHANGE ITS EXTENSION TO .TXT IF NEEDED IN ORDER TO OPEN IT CORRECTLY.

That's bad news for Poland and for my wishlist :(
Most of games of Europa Universalis series changed from $9.05 to $9.99 in PL. The same for Majesty series.

There is still regional pricing for BR, CN, UA, RU and regUZ with bigger discounts. Don't want to complain, but it seems that seems that Polish discounts were the biggest that was canceled :|

You know, if they'd say "hey, we screw everyone we can at first, but 5 years after release we remove regional pricing (maybe except the discounts GOG really presses for)" (since 5 years seems to be the cutoff now), I'd be really fine with it. Even with the fact that during those first years years as of lately we're lumped with the overcharged Eurozone. But would take a firm commitment in that direction.

You're right. I didn't fully read the details and I failed to realize that the newest games still had surcharges for most of the regions... Also as ciemnogrodzianin and myself pointed out, there are some regions which are still being screwed, so I won't call Paradox 'good guys' just yet.

Anyhow, here's either a new buggy regional price, or another one that was introduced while MaGog refreshed her database:

---------------------------

The newly added game Little Nightmares - The Depths [DLC] is regionally priced:

>>> It is $4.93 instead of $3.99 in regAR, BR, CL, CO, MX, PA, PE, UY
>>> It is $4.64 instead of $3.99 in NO
>>> It is $4.55 instead of $3.99 in DK, SE
>>> It is $4.49 instead of $3.99 in regCZ, regDE, regIT, MC, MT, NL, PL, regRO, regRS, SK
>>> It is $4.18 instead of $3.99 in CH
>>> It is $4.12 instead of $3.99 in GB
>>> It is $3.87 instead of $3.99 in AU, NZ
>>> It is $3.33 instead of $3.99 in CA
>>> It is $2.09 instead of $3.99 in RU, UA, regUZ
It seems a little suspicious that Paradox raised prices just before Steam sale and then lowered them after Steam sale.

Sale deals must appear bigger?
