Gede: Does MaGog make available the price history of the games?
Yes. It's available in the Price column.

Here is a list of all the games whose price has changed since MaGog's debut (May 2014):

Great! Thank you for the info.

One more thing: do you (or anyone else) happen to know if GOG disclosures any "hard" data(*) regarding game sales? Where do they publish their quarterly report? I was wondering how promos and price adjustments impact their income. Does a game generate more money during promos, during launch, and so on. How much money is driving GOG towards regional pricing?

I'm not expecting detailed information, just enough information to form a clear picture.

(*) I don't know the details regarding their "Popular" and "Bestselling" classification.

Dzsono: It's at the end of an unprecedented mining boom and the value of the currency has dropped by more than 30% in the last 2 years. Thus far the exporting of mineral resources had buoyed the economy during the worst of the GFC, but China has greatly reduced its demand. Now cracks are appearing and fiscal planning must be prudent and unpopular if the country is going to emerge unscathed.

That being said, it still kicks Hungary's posterior...

And Steam still allows publishers to charge us ridiculous prices for titles in US dollars (2K / Sega / EA / Scamco Bandai... hell just about EVERYONE)

So not only do we pay prices in USD that can be up to 40% or so more... our currency has also shat itself...

And they wonder why Australians are (allegedly) the world's worst pirates...

Uh.. the 2-letters country identifier is a bit a problem: I can't search it in the thread, due to GOG's restriction to 3 chars minimum :\
(no, IT: doesn't work)

The two letter codes are not for countries. They are for regional pricing regions. Each region is represented by one country within that region (giving it its two letter code). There is no IT region. Italy is part of the DE region.

That doesn't, of course, address the GOG two-letter search bug. Please report this bug in the "What did just break?" thread, even though it's not new.

On my side, I will modify MaGog's logs to use a longer string. Will try to get to it over the weekend, at the latest.

I'm not sure if it's exactly a bug: various forums use that restriction to limit too broad searches.
If you want, I'll still report it anyway.

It isn't a bug; the search function tells you that the search term must be at least 3 characters long.
