Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Ed. seems to be 29.99 US dollars
Dead Space seems to be 19.99 US dollars

on Steam Store : (from what i see)

Dead Space is 9.99 euro
Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Ed: (n/a)
avaible : Base Game : 19.99 euro / Awakening expansion : 9.99 euro

Sooo.... i don't really see the reason such a treatment for two games published by the same publisher.

Looks like EA abused the regional pricing way too much for one of the two games mentionned.

Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition is available on . And if you check the [url=https://www.steamprices.com/us/app/47810/dragon-age-origins-ultimate-edition]various region prices, you're in for quite a shock.

The Dead Space 100% price hike has nth to do with (abusing) regional pricing, it's pure greed.

I'd be curious to see how the other price points will be affected from such an adjustment, if it's indeed an oversight.

What makes the Dead Space price even "better" is the fact that it's only 7.99€ on Origin. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Dragon Age price increasing to sync it with the US price on Steam soon unless the 19.99$ are intentional....

Just goes to show how high the price of DRM-free is... makes both EA and GOG more money.


And equally, it wouldn't surprise me if it was intentional, the US is over 50% of GOG's market, after all.

And just to prove how the price for Dead Space is totaly silly ; i bought a copy on Steam during a sale for 2.49 euro O_o

the base game is multilanguage & the separate expansion is english only o_O

frankly it's a non-sense , if i have to count the number of games without french as language, plenty of titles wouldn't be avaible ....:P

Well that's pretty standard as i'm able to access the community hub of all games not available in Germany....

But that this edition is not available in France just confuses me - all the other versions are available for you, right?

yes, base game + expansion (seperate entries) are avaible... i just don't really understand. (except during sales if my memory serves me right)
