I want to play Assassin's Creed 1 again, but the controller settings for it are bad on PC (they don't let you use the left and right triggers for some reason) so I wanted to get a key mapper that works. I tried Joy2Key, and it wasn't working properly (I'd assign the D key to go right, and it'd instead react to down and left movements, but not right, ect). Any suggested programs would be appreciated.

Question, are you using a wireless XBox360 controller? AC1 (and 2) have issues with the wireless controller, but you can use the files from here to fix that issue. I did use them a few years back, and I could map the triggers just fine.

This isn't a proper mapper, just a fix for the specific issue I guess you have.

Edit: A thread about this issue in the subforum.

Yea I'm using the wireless Xbox One controller now, but previously I was using the wireless Xbox 360 controller. I'll try your fix out. Thanks for the reply!
