Another year, another round of questionable award choices. What a surprise! ;)

Voice acting for Geralt? Adam Jensen? Pfft. For the first: Serviceable? Yes. Good? Come on! I've seen accountants with more emotion than him. Never mind the fact he has exactly the same monotone drone in other games as well. As for Adam, he was part machine before the machine parts.

All those No Man's Sky nominations sure make me raise an eyebrow.

Youtube personality of the year? *insert giant eye roll* Ugh.

Awards are pointless anyway. Most of them have judges who are tied to the nominated games somehow and the value of any award is so low nowadays where you can get awards for cool trailers and for convincing E3 devotees. After all, awards are just top 10 or top 5 lists with a trophy for being in the top 3. And all of them will have something to peddle the pretentious games as well. Overall games award shows are just cringe.

Are you sure this is 2016? Most of the winners are from 2015. And so many sponsored awards, whatever that means.

TL;DR Guitar Hero Live, Oculus, Vive, PSVR, No Man's Sky, Pokemon Go and Quantum Break. Wow, very depressing.

EDIT : nevermind, everything there is depressing. Niantic as developer of the year? Steam as a platform? There are FIFA youtubers? This is why I stick to youtube top 10s........
