Not sure if this the right place, but I bought Doom and Doom II on Sunday I believe for $15 and it's on sale now for about $2.50 each x.x anybody know what their policy is with situations like that? I'm not dis-satisfied with the games, It's just my luck to buy something right before it goes on sale x.x

Never ever buy anything, as it may at some point become cheaper in a sale

If you haven't yet downloaded the games, you can ask in the first 30 days for a refund.

If it makes the OP feel any better I think that same thing has happened to virtually everyone in here.

People are sick of me and my Settlers 3 bitch fest. :P

That's the spirit :-)

Money well spent are money well spent. Sure, it may be annoying if a game goes on sale right after you buy it, but if it was worth the price you paid when you bought it, it's still worth that price.

It's the original DOOM series :D My dad bought it in 93 on floppy, I bought it in the "Ultimate Doom Collectors edition CD" like 13 years ago, and since my Mac doesn't have a CD Drive, bought it again on GOG! in my mind it's forever worth the original $25-40 (whatever the original was).

would be nice to see some OSX and Linux Binaries for the gog installer since the games run in Dos Box though x.x All Hail the Great DOOM! too bad doom 4 is most likely gonna be a bad money sink Q_Q

Are they actually making a Doom 4, and what is this commercial for, I think consuls, billing this new game as just Doom?
Sales can be annoying in a way, I was thinking of buying a certain game a few days ago but came on GoG to find there was a sale going on, now I feel like I'm in limbo waiting to see if the game goes on sale or not.

well it's just "Doom" but from the steam community who've played Beta....seems really negative; DLC like crazy, and specs out the bum just to play the darned game x.x AND they abandoned OSX and Linux support that they originally had posted on steam x.x

I must admit that while it's still as great a game as ever, when I play it these days I use a source port with modern controls. I still love the game to bits, but I need modern controls to enjoy it. The original control scheme is simply too clunky. I guess I've been spoiled by later FPS's. I can't play the original Dune 2 anymore either for the same reason.
