Hi there, I just got a notification on the bottom right hand side of the screen advising me to update Cyberpunk. That very same notification contained something far more interesting in small text though. Apparently GOG's 15th Anniversary celebration begins tomorrow (see attachment)! I expected it around the 29th personally.

Wishing for some new releases from Ubisoft, but expecting Doom 2016.

Hype!

I really hope there's something good. Glad Fallout 4's out of the way, because that'd be an immense disappointment if that was supposed to be the big thing.
Ooooooooooooooh! It feels like christmas eve!
Tomorrow, all our wishes will be fulfilled!
Thank you very much for clarifying, I saw it too and I was a bit confused bout it. (What anniversary?! O.o)

Hype INDEED!!!
I mean: it's not as if they hid it...(attachment from the email):

I never said they hid it, but the date wasn't known until today. I also saw that pop-up before I saw that email.
These celebrations used to be around September 29 in the past, so I simply didn't expect it until next week.
Just your regular reminder that GOG always manages to derail our hype-train.
It's GOG... And we love it for that.

Still, I wouldn't mind seeing the release of Civilization V, with a bundle of 1+2 as cherry on top. But that would be asking for disappointment.
But I honestly hope that GOG manages to surprise all of us. It wouldn't be the first time.
I hope we will have pancakes, I love pancakes.

I'd love a surprise extra discount on Cyberpunk 2077. I know, not going to happen.
Hmm, thought they'd delay it to Phantom Liberty's release to justify that as the big release of their anniversary. I'd be happy to be wrong and see some other great title joining the store!

That would be ridiculously disappointing lol. I'm sure it'll be a good expansion but we always knew it would come to GOG. We need something big from a 3rd party.
I'm hoping for Wanted: Dead or Soulstice if we're talking about releases.

But to be honest, I'd rather see improvements on the forum and the offline installers, but new games releasing is more likely during the sale, sadly.

As much as I fear sounding like the usual sorts of people that immediately go for the jugular - truth is GOG has been pulling some big misses on their list of "hit and miss", so your point flying way above their heads wouldn't be a first. But yeah, let me hope to be wrong and see something else like Doom or Assassin's Creed etc joining the DRM free side.

Civilization V and the Quantic Dream games are good candidates to show up during this sale.
We have some indications that these are going to show up sooner or later:

Civilization V:

So... the anniversary sale begins exactly a week before they usually celebrate it, which means we're looking at a two week sale, which, these days, means 4000 titles discounted.
