adamhm: ... and of course, no Mac or Linux version of BioShock Infinite despite Mac & Linux versions being available on that other store :/
avatar
emter_pl: Unfortunately, Mac and Linux versions were developed and published by a different company and it wasn't possible to add their DRM-free version of the game at the moment.
Thanks for the reply. I suspected this was the case for some of the ports done by third parties. Hopefully you can convince them to start releasing those Mac and Linux versions here.
And OK what is this crap with Facebook opening each time I open the main page in GoGGalaxy?

Leroux: I suppose they all get activated right away? Or can you buy the collection as a gift and only activate the games you're still missing, leaving a gift code with the duplicate(s)?
If you already own some of the games in the collection, after buying it a redeem code for those duplicated games will be sent to your email.

The code can be partially redeemed, it will stay valid until all the games are redeemed or one year after the date of purchase.

Edited: Typo.

MadalinStroe: Am I understanding this right? Does Shadows: Awakening completely supersede Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms?

Is there any reason why anyone should buy Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms(which as far as I understand is just part 1 of the story), now that Shadows: Awakening(which is the complete story, part 1+2)?
From what I know, yes, Awakening supersedes S:HK. And frankly I have no idea, why S:HK is still sold separately and for a higher price with lesser discount than Awakening. That's bound to cause confusion, misunderstandings and disappointment. There might be some small differences between S:HK and Awakening Act 1, but I'd expect that they're negligable and that, if anything, Awakening's Act 1 is better, since it's the new and updated version of S:HK (I think they remade it in a new engine or something?).

Steam Connect will never return?.

MadalinStroe: snip

I'm noticing Syberia 3: The Complete Journey is now 80% off. Kinda of a sucker punch for those who bought it durring the weekly sale that just expired, when it was only 75%.
I forgot how short the weekly sale was and wanted to get Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, which was 75% off during that sale and is 50% off now. :(

Great to see Bioshock Infinite here! I'll be snagging that and likely others as well.

But what if you own the game elsewhere (not on GOG)? Can you buy a gift code for the collection then and only redeem the games you don't have yet, keeping the one you already own elsewhere (not on GOG) on the code? Is that what you're saying?

i'm buying bioshock infinite even though i already have it on ps3.

and i'm probably in the extreme minority but it's my favorite bioshock. i liked that it had similar themes socially but was more colorful and less claustrophobic. i know it's one of those things that many love about the first two games and i'm not knocking them. i like them a lot too. but if we're talking about favorites...i've beaten infinite twice and have been itching to do it again since beating the gog versions of the first two.

thanks a ton for bringing it here.
Dear GoG, why only discounted DLCs for Order of Battle: World War II - not basic game ?

That's exactly what I'm confused about.
O____o

Well, thats the first time the front page has worked properly in Palemoon since the site "upgrade". Dont know what those GOGbears did, but they did it right.

MaxFulvus: Thanks for the freebie, but... no GOG Connect ?!
It's not a part of the summer promo :(
Amazing to see Bioshock Infinite on the front page. Thanks to everyone involved in getting it here.
