timmy010: i miss the 3 tier freebies thing. the more you spend, the more you get.
To be fair, that still holds true in this sale. ;P

GameRager: To everyone: Get Bioshock Infinite if you want NOW......the price for it OFF SALE(55 bucks US) is WAY TOO HIGH for a non-new game(imo).
BioShock Infinite Complete Edition includes all DLC's that were sold separately on other platforms, hence the final price of this product. I can only encourage everyone to take advantage of the discount while the Summer Sale Festival lasts :)

HypersomniacLive: Also thanks for (finally?) making the summer sale front page, and everything related, work in the browser of my choice (I'm inclined to think that it was hurt past sales that led to this decision, but I'm glad all the same that the stance of supporting only the latest versions of the mainstream browsers seems to be over).

Making the collections a single item that can't be partially redeemed when one has part of it from other stores seems counter-incentive, and may bite you in your rear end and lose you sales.
Thank you for noticing the page improvements! Our Web team is hard at work on performance and other known issues. Hopefully, we'll have a bit more to show you soon.

Collections work differently than completion bundles - the discount comes from a fact that you get all of these games at once. Otherwise such deep discount wouldn't be possible. For users who prefer to buy single games, we made sure that all of them are also discounted during the sale.

i_hope_you_rot: Will the 24h flash CHUCHEL Cherry Edition deal return on the last day ?
Flash deals are one time only - after 24h pass the games will remain on sale until the end of the Summer Sale Festival at a lower discount.

The Spreadsheet is now up to date...

Obduction!!! Yes!!! Thank you very much for this, GOG (and Cyan...)

I do not like very much the idea of those collections as a single item than can't be redeemed partially, as others already said.

At least the flash deals are 24h and not something like 8h or so and i will have time to come and see the new offers each day.

ciemnogrodzianin: List of all discounted games - sorted by price! Enjoy! ;)
And thank you very much for that, very useful as always :)

DRM-free Bioshock Infinite and free Obduction? GOG, if you keep flirting with me like this, I may just propose.
First I want to thank you for the free game. And second, the bundle name "Die Auslanders" sounds really strange for a German. ;)

eiii: Good bye good old GOG game bundles. All hail to the new, intransparent GOG game collections, which do not show you if you already own a game in a collection and do not even warn you when you add them to your cart and check them out.
avatar
GOG.com: Main stage headliners feature games collections which are a perfect opportunity to grab some exceptional titles at high discounts, [..]
avatar
eiii: And which are also a perfect opportunity to buy unwanted, expiring gift codes for games and do not even get warned about it!

GOG, what happened to your own statements about "owned games always count in your favor" and "bought gift codes do never expire"?
If you want to buy a game as a gift, then you receive a gift code that never expires, so you are not wrong about that :)
Game collections are not the same, though. If you were to purchase a game collection (and the ones we have in the Summer Sale are pretty sweet deals ;) ), and you own one or more of the titles in said bundle, then you receive giftable game codes, which are valid for a year.

Thank you, RW, +1

Ashleee: If you already own some of the games in the collection, after buying it a redeem code for those duplicated games will be sent to your email.

The code can be partially redeemed, it will stay valid until all the games are redeemed or one year after the date of purchase.

Edited: Typo.
Wait, purchased codes can expire now? Bad form
EDIT: Saw Chandra's post, still... bad form.

Have you guys thought of using the collections format for games with different versions (i.e. Pillars of Eternity, Pathfinder, Tyranny, etc.) so that all correct items on the game are shown as owned in the store when you buy particular versions instead of having each version being its own individual product ID? So for instance if I buy the Ultimate complete edition of a game, instead of having 1 product ID for that (where other lesser versions with some of the exact same content don't show as owned), have it merely be a collection of all the items that goes into it for that price? I only ask because that worked PERFECTLY with the Warcraft Bundle.

As with previous sales, Galaxy isn't showing items in my library so I find I'm wasting vast amounts of time viewing games I already own.

Also I get connection error messages whenever I try to click the individual game links inside a "collection package".

No purchases this time but if these bugs can get fixed then I'll try again next sale - I'm sure I've said that for the last few sales.

But why do parts of the bought product even have to expire? You paid for all games inside this collection or not? Only because you already own some of the games a part of the package now has a deadline on it? So as long as you don't own any of those games you will be free to redeem the collection whenever you want. Still it is the same product ... hmmm

Just click on the D column (above "Price") and you will see a small arrow that lets you change the sort order therefore creating a temporary filter. (You can delete this temporary filter if you like by clicking on the small filter icon on the upper left side and chose "no filter").

Edit: Or simply switch to the tab "By Sale Price" which is far more easy of course :)

I see Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Obsidian Edition at -60% 27.99€, that's all time low right? Seems like a great price for whoevere can afford it.

emter_pl: Unfortunately, Mac and Linux versions were developed and published by a different company and it wasn't possible to add their DRM-free version of the game at the moment.
avatar
shmerl: That company is Virtual Programming, which released The Witcher 2 Linux port as well (including on GOG). Why can't they release Bioshock Infinite for Linux here?
I remember that VP were asked about the Linux versions of the Saints Row games when they were released here. Their response was that they hadn't been asked to prepare DRM-free releases by Deep Silver.

I guess it's the same situation here (unlike the Mac version, the Linux version of BioShock Infinite is actually published by 2K): for the Linux version to be made available here 2K would need to ask VP to prepare DRM-free builds. Whatever the reason though, it's extremely annoying - yet another major release denied for Linux on GOG.

Anyway. I'm sure you gonna make a proper wrapper like you did for other games :)
